Vanilla Kush?

I got a Vanilla Kush UFO and it is 28 days in veg and there is almost not lower branch growth. Is this normal? I tried to LST on day 25 and there was only a little lower branch growth. Is this normal that the Vanilla Kush doesnt produce any lower branches and just the top? I wanted to try and clone this plant since it is my only Vanilla Kush, but am worried if I take the top there will be no lower branch growth. Has anyone else experience a Vanilla Kush with no lower branch growth?

Same thing happened to my VK (feminised, Barneys Farm), using 250W MH.
It will start to branch eventuallly.
Just make sure that the real top is tied down so that it is lower than the side-shoot you want to grow (when you LST). And keep it down until the sideshoot start growing.

edit: the part of the plant highest up will get the growth-hormones, that's why you must keep it lower (than the "real" top).

That is pretty much how mine grew as well.

Hmmm, mine branches normally, it's maybe 3-4 wks in under t5s and I've already taken clones.

vuku is def a SOG strain... tastes more like cream then vanilla tho.. better for headstash than production.. but like i said, clones ez and is GREAT for SOG. def a single cola strain, imho
