Vaporizer

Hey everyone haven't been on here for awhile now, but I am loving that they pasted the marijuana law in Michigan. Anyways I have always not wanted to fuck my lungs up and every time I smoke even though it isn't much I still get short breathed, can't run as fast or as far. I am sick of it. I wanna know if any of you got vaporizers and what the best ones are. I know they are expensive, but I want the best one or some of the better ones. If it is expensive still tell me.

I've heard the volcano's are top of the line vapes, never used one though.

i have a volcano... its pretty cool - you can still feel it in your lungs, if you put too much in a bag and inhale a lungfull its worse than a bong rip.. but you can do it sensibly.

i've used other vaporizers, but none that i can recommend...

the high from the volcano is a little different than smoking - you might like it, you might not... it makes me feel a little more couch-lock than smoking, and the buzz sticks with you longer... sometimes it makes me really sleepy, compared to smoking.

i think ebay is the best place to get them.. i snagged mine back in the day for 550 with lots of goodies.. including a 3.5" 4 piece aluminum grinder (usually about $80), a cigar humidor, several butane lighters, a scale and so on...

I own and use a vapir 1 and it does the job, well. I got it for $130 bucks. It does take getting used to. I have heard of someone melting one and not knowing it until they had inhaled some fumes. Not Good! However I think this is very unlikely if you think about what your doing and and use the controls as directed. Yeah, controls. A master on/off switch, a heating element switch, a tab activated spring-loaded ejector cartridge (ready to shoot your red-hot bowl at your very stoned buddies!), and two temp control buttons, up and down. It has balloon style and pipe style capabilities. The heating element is ceramic and seems to be high quality. It's a really mixed bag. I love toking on it! I go through lots of weed with it though. Not a big deal if your a grower, but I was out of the game for a long time until recently.

I think the best thing I've seen out there (other than the Volcano) is the Silver Surfer. I think you can get that one for around $170.

I built my vape just reverse engineered what I wanted. It takes 15 minutes to warm up and plugs into a wall socket, cumbersome but effective.

I do not need the balloon or plastic bags I use a glass dome.

if money is no object, i'd say go with the volcano with the eazy valve kit! it's real easy to use, and it's of the highest quality, i just love mine.

See guys, that's why I've yet to venture into the vaporizer thing. I mean, nothin against em or nothin, but personally, I like to sit down after work and smoke a bowl ya know? Idk, I'd like to try one, but for me, I don't think I'd be shellin out $500+ for one, cuz u know u gotta have the best.

i am just cheap 500 is alot of cash. The margin of profit must be huge. there is not 50 dollars worth of parts in a vape.

i bet the volcano has some money in it... they are made in Germany... out of stainless steel, and are considered a medical device... they have larger heating elements that dont vary in temperature when the air flows over them and are made to last forever... i'd guess it has at least $200 worth of parts, and then you gotta ship it...

but sure - you can make one for 88 cents out of a lightbulb... or buys some for less than a bill.

As long as they don't melt down like the one I mentioned, they are much healthier. I haven't heard anyone debate that they weren't (yet ).

In my own experience switching to vaping made an immediate difference. I was having some lung problems, chest congestion, hacking all the time, bronchitis, asthma, etc., that were exacerbated by daily weed smoking. within a week ALL of these were gone. These had been going on for over a year.

luckily i got my volcano at a music festival for 300 bucks, brand new, so i lucked out...and i definetely still like to blaze the herb conventionally, quite a bit!!

I want to find a place that just has the base of a volcano so i can just buy the spare parts and save a hundred bucks but I have yet to find one, even ebay don't have em.

volcanos use a lot of weed. i bought one on the basis of being able to conserve weed and still get high as fuck. i went with the silver surfer. its awesome and i have loved it ever since. silver surfers are half the price of volcano's. jus

I agree with 420Blunts, Silver Surfer is the way to go! I also had a Volcano, it was loud, bulky and took the fun out of getting high. For me anyway. I now own a Silver Surfer, and it is soooo much easier, and more satisfying to use. RichJames, you mentioned that you like the whole ritual of sitting down and smoking a bowl after work, me too! and the Silver Surfer is closer to the feeling you get smoking a bowl than any other vaporizer. The Volcano is more like the feeling you get when you turn on a coffee maker.

Lol, ya and I don't drink much coffee nowadays so why'd I want another coffe maker?
I'm gonna google silver surfer and see whats up with them. Like I said, i like to smoke a bowl, but lately it seems to be takin a tole on the ole lungs ya know.
