Vaporizer

I hear ya.. someone else mentioned Da Budda. Those are made by the same company as Silver Surfer and are cheaper, I hear they are pretty good too. So, I bet youd be happy with either. I really love my SSV and all my friends and family who have used my volcano in the past think the Surfer is way better too.

WOW, so you're saying that the silver surfer is straight up better than the volcano?? i find that hard to believe. i've owned the cano for 3 years, and i've never used or even seen a surfer, so i can't truly know, but i just love the cano, it works so well! i think i'm going to order a surfer to witness its greatness!

I'm an avid Volcano user. I don't see the reason in buying an inferior product on the basis "its cheaper its worse" or "its more expensive its better." I did a lot of product research online, and read some scientific papers comparing smoking and vaporizing with a volcano (it is a medical grade device btw) before I finally made the decision. The volcano bowls are about twice the size of a smoke bowl....but I get waaaay more out of it and instead of smoking a bowl every 20 minutes I vap one about every hour or so. So yeah....its not for everyone, some of my friends come over and after a couple vap bowls pull out their pipes cause they like smoking more. I find it gives a much cleaner high, no buggy or dry eyes, my throat feels fine, and it tastes way better imo. Its all up to how you like your smoke.

I do like it (Silver Surfer)better than the Volcano that I owned for 5 years. I think the Volcano is an amazing vaporizer, I know its med grade, that was part of the reason I bought it, very nice piece of machinery, great quality... I prefer the Silver Surfer though.. I think its just way better. Much easier to use, no loud fans or dust buildup in th efan... glass on glass heating... I use it 10 times more than I ever used my volcano. I like it better. Volcanos all the way, there is many copies and alot of vaporizers that are on the market which are rubbish.

but whats $300-$500 if it is going to be alot healthier for you, I know it's a lot but is well worth it in the long run but saying that I still like to smoke out my $30 bong a lot better

Well, you sound like me, you wanted the best vaporizer so you bought a Volcano. Great! They rock! But, as you became accustom to vaping, Im sure you see how long the 'cano takes to heat up, etc.. that loud fan, having to fill up an entire bag, etc. the dust buildup in the fan is straight up nasty to your lungs... I had never tried a whip style vape before I bought the Surfer, but I gotta say, I prefer it to bag. First off, SSV heats up fast... You suck up your herbal blend in the whip with ease, glass on glass heating is nice and will remind you of what your used to(smoking herb) the herb vapor doesnt have time to get stale as it goes direct into your mouth instead of waiting in a bag, and to me it feels more natural... than filling up a bag and hitting it. Which is great too. I just prefer SSV.

Dude, you'll love it! I think its the most inovative vape since the Volcano. The Volcano is the BEST bag vape and I think SSV is the BEST whip vape

i HATE vapor daddy's. i dunno what it is about them but i feel that they suck for vaps. i dont get nearly as high off a silver surfer or a volcano. and i agree with cheech wizard -- volcanos are best bag vaps and silver surfers are best whip vaps. for sure...

basicly dont go cheap on vaps. get the top of the line and i promise you wont regreat it. and you sure as hell better not get the fucking sauter iron in an upside down jar or i will personally slap you with it.

LOL... soldering iron in an upside down jar? Sounds like the one's they sell at thesomoke shop down the street from my house for like $50. They look like one of those old glass lanterns, some looked like those snow globes u see around christmas too. Definately wouldn't go that route myself, I'm leanin towards the silver surfer.

I don't know man, I ain't a crackhead myself or nothin, but all the one's I've met sure as hell wouldn't be blowin no $50 on somethin to smoke out of when they can get a tire gauge for $1. Fuckin crackheads.

I have to say, my next purchase is the SSV. But that's the way I've planned this out.

Recently I purchased the solid valve kit off of ebay. Went to lowes and got me a variable heat gun. Now I will warn, this way is NOT for everyone. (Especially if you buy the cheaper variable heat guns) If you have no senses and are a turn it on turn it off kind of person... can't think of what happened last time and what to try next time... DONT FREAKIN DO THIS. None of the settings are right so you have to play with the temp as your vaping on low. I heat it up on the 2nd lowest setting which is to hot, then after 2 seconds, I back off to the lowest setting which is to cool. Then switch back and forth till the bag is full. I've played with this thing for weeks, and I have to say I'll put my vaping skills up against the volcano any day.

That said, I'd really like a whip vape for smoking by myself. Smoking a bag by myself leaves me pretty fucking useless. lol Can I fill it half full? I have, but hell.. once its goin why shut it off?? lol

After that purchase - I'm getting the volcano base unit and calling it a day just so I can stop playing with the damn heat gun - sit back and relax while the thing heats up and fills up.

Oh.... forgot to comment about vaping. I have to say, I dont know what it is. I used to LOVE the taste out of a pipe on the first two hits. Hell I was thinking I was gonna hit the weed twice out of the bowl and then grind it up - toss it in the vape.

I remembered that bright idea about two weeks into haivng the vape and couldn't believe how much less I liked the first hits out of a pipe.

I can breath deep, dont have all those tars cand crap getting in my lungs... its awesome.
