First grow ever. Just had a question i wanted to get some opinions on. I have a closet set up and my first 2 plants (sour deisal), one is at 20 inches and the other is at 24 inches and about 6 weeks veg. Today was the first day they are going to be changed from 24/0 to 12/12. I know it depends on conditions and lighting and yadda yadda. btw i have 2 150 watt metal halide lights going in a small closet. But i was wondering how tall should i except these plants to get in flowering if female, double size 4 ft? and im hoping they at least grow an oz each.

you think i have vegged them long enough considering they r 2 ft tall and i only have a 4 ft- 5ft closet?

Sour Diesel stretches a lot in flowering, you'd better start training those girls. They can triple in size.

yeah i would advice to train them now as i made my first 1's grow that size and they tripled in size and i got 6 oz a plant so if you look after them you will have more than what you wish for :)

okay so to train them... I just put them under 12/12 today, so they will transition into flowering and hopefully i will have two girls on my hands. if i do, how should i train them, tying branches down? any advice would be great?

It's very hard to say , as you already know light's , genetics , enviro yahdah yahdah, all come into play here.

A rough idea on how big they will get is roughly double the size they are.

However size is never a good way to determine what your plant will be like/big plants can be bad and good , I could put my lghts really high up and grow some giant monster plants , just loads of stretch between the internodeds . Would be a big plant but would yield next to nothing.
Where as a small plant gave proper lighting could grow really tight internodeds , yielding you more.

Just try and keep the light as close as possible , without burning /drying out the plants, this should keep the stretch to a minimum

Yield is all about those internodes imo

Hope that makes sence.
