i would consider poop to be pretty organic and vegan safe clearly the bat wasent killed in the pooping process and i'd bet that just about
Totally not true. Look up the habitat destruction that goes along with collecting bat guano. Take a look at where the "blood meal" & "bone meal" come from (Slaughterhouses, where disgusting things happen). Me and my wife were actually just discussing this topic.
We are both vegan, and have been for 15 years. I still use bat guano though, but I am also trying to switch. I just haven't found anything as good for it either.
Veganism is a lifestyle, and its an ethical choice and also a healthy choice. Vegan's rates for heart attack, stroke, cancer, high cholestrole, and many many other illnesses are for the most part nil. Now yes, humans have "evolved" (which is debatable as well, as I personally feel we have devolved) to being able to eat meat, but if you look at studies of vegan diets compared to omnivore diets, vegans are MUCH healthier in comparison and help "Save the Earth" more than omnivores could ever dream. Just take a look at the "carbon foot test" under the question for which kind of diet do you eat. If you choose "Vegan" your percentage rate for sustainablity drops more than half percent! Also studies have shown (and I'm sure someone can point me to a study that shows the opposite, because hey, whatever the thinker thinks, the prover proves) that human biology is mainly plant based, meaning that humans thrive better off of plants than they do off of meat. Just take a look at updated "food pyrimids" that tell you to eat little to no meat, and ESPICALLY no red meat in your diet, and to eat more plants. Humans biology digest plants better and faster than meat. A vegan will shit anywhere from 2-3 times daily, while most omnivores will only shit once daily, and sometimes not even once a day! The meat sits in your stomach and rots, and the acid can't break it down fast enough. So if you keep eating more and more meat on top of rotting meat that your body can't break down, you get what they call constipated. No vegans get constipated (diarrehia on the other hand is a different story.).
I was told something a long time ago that I pondered on ever since, which I always found interesting. If you put a baby in a crib with a banana and a rabbit, which do you think it will eat and which will it play with? Every test ever done will always show that the baby will play with the rabbit and eat the banana, without any coercion of any kind or any coaxing. Theres something to learned there, take of it what you will.
Now dont get me wrong, I am in no way dogmatic about being vegan. I see nothing what so ever being wrong with hunting for your food (as long as you are not trophy hunting, and everything will be used on the animal, like native americans), or if you raise the animals yourself and slaughter them. I am just completely against any form of factory farming and exploitation to animals. Go take your dog or cat and kill and eat them. Better yet, eat some of these pesky humans that are over-populating this planet.
Well thats my long rant! haha. In all replies just take into account that I have an extremely good sense of humor about being vegan, and can make fun of myself, and am in no way dogmatic. I prefer to be catmatic. haha.
