Vegging indoors for 8 months before bringing outside, good idea?

Sounds good. I just think it will outgrow the room ur using before it goes outside. Your going to have a lot of plant training on your hands to keep it from growing to the ceiling in 8 months. Please do it though i would love to see it done.

I have a clone I've been growing for a few weeks now and I plan on making the transition outside in a couple of months for our summer (southern hemi)

Not as long as yours but she will be a few months old by then.

I have started getting her used to the sun by placing her outside for a few hours when/if the sun is out.

When the days are long enough I will transplant into a nice plot
