vegging question

when people say 'i vegged for 2-3 weeks' or any amount of time, when does that veg time START? from what i understand seedling stage is 2 weeks THEN veg for x weeks.
i prefer when people say x days from sprout... i have an exact timeline that way. thoughts?

I count my veg. time from the time they break through the soil ... I think most do , but I could be wrong.

from when it breaks the soil i thought as well, although i buy clones from the clinic myself, easy and already fem...

i dont keep track i veg til im happy and flower til i think there done but i think most people count the day it pops soil

I count the day it pops out the soil becuse your seeds are not veging they are germinating befor the soil comes!! So start counting your veg days when your seed pops out the soil.
