Vegging to avoid too much middle growth

I wanted to share a post with you all. For years I have got fucked off with too much middle growth. No light and air getting through, so I decided to try a new way of vegging. Now I top them early, get many branches, then supercrop the fuck out of every branch at the edges. Then I remove every single node in the middle of the plant. Here are 2 cheese clones which are going into day 1 of 12/12 tmrw.

Next plant, both have gavita 750de in a 4x4 tent each. 1 plant, 20 litres of coco perlite 70/30.

So there are fuck all nodes anywhere in the middle. That kind of makes lollipop'n a bit easier. Not to mention trimming. They grow loads in the stretch anyway, so I just bank on that. I did this technique to this lemon skunk clone from DNA. She is a nice distance from the lights. I have put the lights just over 1ft away now. This is her on day 32 of 12/12. Still haven't had to lollipop her as there is nothing under there and won't be. Look how the mid/edges just grew to the middle, which then allowed the far/edges more space too.

For me it does bare the question, why would anybody leave on middle growth, unless you want more work, more lollipop'n, bad air flow, no light hitting the bottom of the colas... Trimming nightmare. It just goes on.

Ok, so for you lst people. Tying a plant down for me isn't to my taste. It gets in the way of the watering can. Your plants have string, My plants have hardened month old supercropped knuckles. They support their own weight well. I do highly respect the method mainlining though. I will say that, but I don't have height issues in my set ups.

I believe I have found a very easy way to grow for coco growers. I'm naturally very lazy, so always do things to make it easier for myself. This technique just makes real sense to me.

11 years of growing has brought me to this point. This plant makes me smile each day when I see her :weed:

I will add photo's of the 2 uk cheese clones so you can see them develop.

Well, I enjoy the processed parts of the plant. Letting the plant grow unmolested yielded lots of growth I could use for trichome collection and iso oil production.
Fair enough. I am lazy and like trimming only dank top colas, so this method is perfect for me. I just thought I'd do a thread about vegging this way as it works amazingly well for a maintenance free grow.

I am making canna butter later today with my neighbour with some sugar leaves trim. I love all that stuff too.

Fevs i love this, all of it. That's exactly where i want to be with my grow. Haven't tried supercropping yet but I'll be striving for less middle growth with my 2 monster clones in coco. To see what looks like just one plant filling out the tent like that in flower is beautiful, it looks like you maximized everything you could with that plant. Love the knuckles I can see with the supercropping. 20 litres is a big pot/soil but I guess the roots use the whole pot even at that size yeah? This is definitely the route i want to take with my grow,, loving it man .:)

Thanks, funny thing is, the plant wasn't shaped under a scrog net either. That was added at the end of stretch to hold the heavy buds up in a months time. It just grew like it had an invisible net

Good work dude. How long did you veg for ?
Not too sure. I run passive led tents for vegging. Get plants in big pots and just put them straight into 12/12 as I chop the others. The plant was 1ft tall, but quite wide when she went in. In veg all I do is snap the stems to keep them low. I'll take a photo of her clone so you can see how she was shaped and looked b4 12/12.

This is the idea behind mainlining. Once you start controlling your bud sites for light exposure and air circulation, it's hard to go back to growing a straight up jungle. Nice job on your plant!
Thanks. Mainlining is a beautiful thing. I love looking at others people plants that mainlined them. I will take photo's of the next lemon skunk clone soon. She is like a mini me from this plant  Same technique, same feeds...

This is what I have been doing the last few grows as well. Mainline the plants and lollipop the under brush.
I am planning to run 4 plants in a scrog and use the same method. I found Scrog gets so thick and lots of larf.

So today is day 36 of 12/12 for the lemon skunk elite clone. I'll get to that plant in a bit though. 1st is her clone. So this is what the plants look like when small. Just transplanted her tonight from 3 litres of coco to 7.5 litres of coco, then supercropped her to open her up like a tin of baked beans.

That clone still has about 1 month of brutal supercopping and pruning. Not allowing any middle growth or leaves. Just knuckles...

So here's mum on day 36 of 12/12. 1 plant : 13 points of light

So I just keep training the clone the same and making sure it's ready after 30-35 days. This plant is quick in flowering. Such an easy plant to grow. She just love life! Today she had molasses, house and garden coco a and b and cx regen-a-root. Ph 5.5. ec 1.4. Tap water.

Day 48 of 12/12. Still haven't defoliated after the flip or lollipopped. This lemon skunk clone goes purple, even when it's Not too cold.

About 3 weeks to go... Really going to run her this time! Got a hurricane fan on 24/7 on lowest setting.

Should be a good one. I love strapping the top down and leaving a few of the bottom nodes and shaping it like a circle. Mines not as fancy by the book as your real mainline but whatever. Same same. Nice work man
