I'm runnin out of room in my veg tent I usually veg with a 600 mh but I just cropped all my plants in flowerin would it hurt to put a few in there with a 24 hr light cycle it's a 1000 watt HPS plz help
The only real problem ive seen when vegging with hps is a burn that can occur if the plants are too young and/or too close to the light. Ive found that Vegging at least 4 weeks with around 150-300w of CFL will get the plant to a point where she will be big enough to handle that much intense light. Also im not 100% but i remember my grandpa tellin me that softer light in the 6500k range like white and blue is better for early stretch and root development. the warmer light around 3200k like red and yellow are really good for node development and sugar transfer within the plant. in short you can get great results fast by supplementing your veg with HPS..but like jondamon said, really make sure and watch those temps. your plants sound like they have enough roots and are big enough to preform wonderfully under those HPS'.I'm runnin out of room in my veg tent I usually veg with a 600 mh but I just cropped all my plants in flowerin would it hurt to put a few in there with a 24 hr light cycle it's a 1000 watt HPS plz help
