Vegitative Grow..?

How long should vegetative be on average. Is 16 hours of light good enough and how fast/slow should this stage be if you wanna have a mother plant? :bigjoint:

Most people veg for 4 weeks, and then flower (12/12) .

16 or 24? That is a good question...

24 hrs does give better growth, but 16 is the best cause you save $$

For your mother plant, I suggest 16/8

I stick with the 24/0 lighting; my reasoning is that I'm attempting to "season" an annual plant in less time than it's used to. Many on here have said that plants grow the most at night and therefore use the 18/6 schedule. I haven't had a problem with the 24/0 so I stick with it (whatever floats your boat). Grow in the veg stage for a period of time that suits your needs. The majority of growers veg for 1 month, but I find I'm a fairly patient person and I veg for 2-3 months to maximize the number of nodes.

Good luck!

it's either 24/0 or 18/6. Not 16/8 and on average growers go for at least a month of veg.

All depends alot on your grow area too, being the flowering cycle will almost double the size of your plants by the time of harvest....:peace:
