Why are you exhausting outside?
It goes into the small attic(cant stand up up all the way) which has vents in the roof and soffit to be exact. I dont want to heat up a small tent too much is why I do that.

Just vent the tent into whatever room you are growing in. What kind of light are you running? Any air you push out of your house will be replaced with outside air through cracks around doors/windows of your house. If its 100 degrees outside, you will be pulling 100 degree air into your house, if its 0 degrees outside, you will be pulling 0 degree air into your house.

The only way i could run my 5x5 when it isnt cold outside is if i had a good size window ac unit going.

That is a recipe for mold.
I added a dryer vent for the tent exhaust. Neighbors are close but there really isnt any smell with a decent carbon filter.
My attic is vented I actually had it extra vented before we closed on house. Where the vent dumps there is a large vented area on ceiling.
Im running a 500w (pulling from wall light from hydro builder) and a growers choice 650w ROI light those are the two lights for the grow tent in a large closet. I vented the one tent to the attic the duct is where there is a large hole (vented roof). Im just worried about smell.

Shouldnt be to bad. Personally I keep the air in my house inside my house. I pump it all to the cold basement. And i double filter it.... No smell ever.
You could consider letting the tents vent into the closet and then having a second filter in the closet pushing the air outside. Or build a double filter setup like i did.
That's not possible in many cases, especially in small rooms and closets. Drives temperature and humidity too high.

Also if you push hot wet air into the attic in the winter you will have major issues with your attic. When hot air enters the cold attic the humidity in the air will condense and eventually your entire attic will be soaking wet. Also if you live somewhere that its snows, the snow on your roof will melt in the middle and turn to ice along the edges.....were talking icicles down the to ground.

Some cooks still say gas is fast and easier to control, but it's really not true anymore.
What about carbon filter to fan to attic to inline big blue ozone to outside? Im worried it will carry to neighbors the ozone smell.
My other idea was 2nd inline carbon filter but my attic is humid in summer i live way down south. Worried that wont be effective.
It doesnt snow here but attic humidity gets 100% im sure as its that muggy hot heat. I dont see to many sub 40 days a year and never snow on ground.

I have same dilemma. Live in the Dirty South. With the lights in the tent, temperature is 8 degrees F hotter than the room. I have a Gorrilla Grow 4x4 with extension that is short of eight feet. 6 in fan. Carbon filter. No smell but noise and a warm room. Great in winter not so otherwise. It’s a space heater in essence.
Tent resides in spare bedroom close proximity to a closet. I’m considering going through ceiling of closet to the attic.
I got the idea from bathroom vents that merely blow into the attic. Not all of those run to a soffit vent. Wouldn’t be prudent.
If it proves ineffective I can patch the closet pretty easily.
Important point to consider is the air brought in to make up for the discharge through the vent fan.
Attic will easily be 100-110F or more. I can’t see it creating an issue that’s not present already.
