I have a yeildmaster hood and I'm running a 1000w Hps light w/a remote out of room ballast. Ive purchased a phresh 6" can filter to fit on my 6" tjernlund 660cfm fan. My question is this:
i want to run from the filter, pull thru the fan, push thru the hood and out the wall. Even with hoses and such, the vibration from the sheer ammount of air is making my bulb rattle a tad.
So, do I just exhaust the light into the room (8'x10x8') with the two cpu fans Ive been using, and hope the filter grabs that air before it heats the room or
Exhaust the room thru the hood and not worry about the vibration.
Im using a passive intake from my basement (cooler air), and when it gets warm, I'll be ducting the hvac in. I assume the exhaust will run 24/7 so the smell is NOT an issue.
Anyone have a simple setup thats been proven? Perhaps one that DOESNT include venting room and fan seperately? Thanks for the suggestions.
