Ventilation and Heating question

I have just recieved my 250 system w/ a yield master 2 enclosure. I have a 250 watt digital balast running my lights. I have both MH and HPS bulbs, and the room that I am growing in is 3.5x3.5x8 ft. I would have posted pics but digi camera is broken.

Couple Questions:

I have read that HPS can be more useful than MH even during the vegetation stages and I was just curious what the general concensus on that is? Will be plants end up better in the end if I just run the hps through veg and into flowering?

Also, I know that I have to provide ventilation to my enclosure especially due to the fact that its closed off by a peice of tempered glass. But my question is do I need to ventilate the air from the bulb out of my room to reduce the heat? or is it ok if I just use my inline fan and send the air right back into the room? I guess I am curious if my room/light is going to get too hot since the room is closed off to air flow alot of the time.

I ask because I have a 4 in inline fan that I could rig up to the light, but I dont want to have to cut through my wall and connect the outlet ducting into my bathroom fan if I dont have to (the attic is horribly set up and is a bitch to cross to get to the master bedroom)

Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated. :)

Some people say that HPS during veg makes plants stretch; I've never had this problem, and I run HPS all the way through (to me, more lumens is better, and HPS has more then MH, all else equal).

As far as your room getting too hot, no one can tell you that but yourself - fire it up and see what happens.

What is an acceptable maximum temperature for my room to reach? 85ish?
