Ventilation problems.

Being that its getting colder and im in my first year of growing, Im having problems keeping my room balanced without having to tear something down and redo it just to tear it down again. My problem, Im in a basement "cellar" surrounded by brick. I have only one exhaust in flower and I have my 600 hps and single hose a/c venting out that same hole outside. My a/c is not running right now (saving on electricity) but its on average 50 degrees f at night when my lights on and reaches 85 degrees. Summer is even worse. I'm thinking I either need to punch whole in brick and vent hot air into basement or vent flower room into veg room wich stays pretty cool in winter. Any Ideas? thanks in advance

I would invest in a one piece self-contained unit from a company like rheem or goodman. theyll cost initially but really make your cellar the perfect grow

Can you bring in cool basement air to lower those 85f temps? A vent fan hooked up to a thermostatic switch will keep your temps wherever you want them. I grow under the same conditions, vent fan turns on for a few minutes every 20 minutes or so to keep temps at 76f during lights on.

I grow in a poured concrete wall basement I have two 4'' holes i drilled in the bond ( the 2x12 that should be sitting on top of your cinder blocks) one for exhaust and one for intake during winter months to bring in cold fresh air to cool room (600w hps 5x7 room) in the summer i open up a vent that I teed off of main home a/c to keep kool when lights are on.

I have an electric heater with thermostat that turns on when my temps get too low. I bought one that has no lights so if it kicks on when the lights are off, it doesn't glow or anything. Home Depot.

Think that's what i'm going to end up doing, I have that setup now but I need more intake. I tried running a sealed room and obviously I cant due to 1. space and 2. a/c unit I have. My 2x10 is not accessible in the small space I have to go to. (furnace in the way) so I am going to have to punch hole in brick, And yes all my walls are like a wine cellar. The old three web cinder block. Don't know if interior walls are poured but i'm sure exterior ones are. But the 2x10 is accessible on outside being that I already have a exhaust into it.
