No. Those type fans don't generate enough pressure differential to overcome any kind of resistance at all. They have no business being used for any purpose in a grow room.

No that will not work, you need an inline fan or centrifugal fan. A booster fan isn't a stand alone fan, it's job is to boost the air flow of a larger fan down a length of ducting.

i know what u are doing i did the same thing ..........just buy the 6 inch active air model it is 400 cfms u can use a speed controller with them and it does the job well ........scrubber size is 6x16 inchs .....................u need to make sure the cfm on the scrubber matchs the highest output of the fan
buy the flexable insulted ducting (aviod heating the air ) do not get the rigded stuff to much of a pain to work with since the design could need tweaking ..........u need pair of wire cutters and a sharp blade
