You can do well in that range, I dance around 50 no sweat. Instead of hallway ventilation can u pump up thru the roof? I think eventually you might heat ambient temperatures and just suck them in all over. I always go up for efficiency....heat rises an all that jazz.

you need a single 400 cfm inline fan for that setup dude. dont go cheap with those booster fans. they are only meant to be used for long runs of ducting when a single high flow inline just isnt enough. besides that you look good. exhaust up into an attic or something might be better than the vent but it works.

inline fan will run you around 80 bucks on ebay.


the problem with the booster fans in that they just arent reliable by themselves.

Just purchased a 440cfm fan on ebay. i live in a mobile home so there is no attic, i wish i could just vent it outside the same window i use for the window unit but it would look fishy from the street having a window unit and exhaust coming out of the same window....

sure the floor works great just keep the duct well below the level of the floor so the crawlspace doesn't get hot and keep you sweating all summer. Also, the ducting, a lot of people kind of don't get it dialed. The idea is to blow air through ducting with minimal curves. Hang the thing horizontal maybe but aerodynamics make the cooling really increase. I saw the percentage of lost power caused by 2 right angled turns and it was a ton.

I used to live in a mobile home myself. I vented through the floor. When you do go outside and make sure nothing is blowing from it. It's gonna look weird if grass under the mobile home is blowing lol. Just my opinion

i have vented skirting around the bottom of my home so i dont think anyone will see anything. As long as the carbon scrubber works good no one should smell anything either

the half of the room that im pulling cool air from is 70-75 but my temps in the tent are 79-80 on the thermometer i have on the ballast and 84.5 on the sensor i have at canopy level... I can put my hand on both the glass and the hood, its warm but not even uncomfortable to touch.i went outside and checked the duct, it blowing good, and i can feel good airflow going threw the duct on the back of the tent. Should i worry? Could my carbon filter be clogged, i just bought it? My major consern is how much im having to use the window unit, i have to crank it down in the 60s to get high 70s mid 80s. that just doesn't seem right.plus the extra cool area seems to be slowing my veg area.

If you live in a hot climate your gonna need more ac. Only other thing is to reduce bends and kinks with your ducting. If your intake is cold then it should be fine. I'm starting with a 10k btu ac in a 4x5 closet without doors until I dial things in I can always put the ac on a timer too so it isn't running all the time like a smaller unit would.

also, that 400w mh is throwing off a decent amount on heat as well. Turn it off or switch to cfl or t5 and see how low they go

ya, my window unit is 10k btu, and yes i live i live in texas so.... Its always hot and humid.
Not sure how i can eliminate some of the bends in the ducting..

You could get another tent/cool tube/inline fan and ducting and vent your mh but I would use t5 for veg/moms to save on electric/heat and still veg decent plants

once my purchased seeds get here, ill be finishing what i have going and be starting new seeds. Once that happens only one side will be active at a time which should give me diffrent heat results. Plus i have my mh ballast dialed down to 50% for the veggies.

When I lived in Florida my temps were at 85 and were good so I wouldn't go much higher then that. Since then I moved up north I don't think I'll have that problem
