Ventilation!

Ok I'm wondering about something I'm considering venting down into the sewer but my sewer has a water trap so water always sits in it. If I were to vent down there would the water dissolve through the water or would it rise back up?

Also I could vent into the room next door but the room next door is an outhouse with no insulation on the roof, It basically has a wood roof. Is that feasible? It's coming up to winter and it does get awfully cold in there.

lol wat. Water doesn't dissolve, it evaporates. Don't vent into a sewer, vent into another room.

so you have a sewer and an outhouse? the warm air going into the outhouse might be nice on a cold morning when your try to squeeze one out.

is the outhouse like a shed and not a place to take a dump?

Yea it's a shed but split into 2 halfs. one half is my grow room and is sufficiently insulated. The other half has no insulation whatsoever, the roof is even made of wood. Otherwise I can just vent out a window that is part of my growroom which I have been doing previously. I'm just looking for a better method to vent hot air as to avoid FLIR

do not use the sewer. back pressure alone is too much but the gasses that will come back up after all the water in the trap is evaporated and the fan turns off will be nasty.

OK thanks guys! So with the sewer of limits I have 2 options vent right outside in the cold winter air or into a room with no insulation present. Which is best do you think? Also quick idea what if I build a canopy extending out from the window I vent from? It goes into my back yard but I'm thinking if I insulate underneath the canopy with thermal wrap the hot air will disperse better with the cold air before anything can become too visible to Chopper FLIR ?
