Ok, i'm a newbie....but just to make sure when you say "rh" i'm guessing it stands for "room humidity" ? If that is the case i do have a temp/rh gauge in there that is wireless and does the min/max for the day, So like i stated in my first post, with no lights on or fans....it's 26.8 Celsius in there right now with a 34% humidity....So i know it would be different if i had plants in there...but i'm thinking if i have a thermostat that turns the fans on only when needed i'd be good night or day.....and if "watered plants" were in there now...i'm sure the humidity would be higher and at or close to the proper range..... correct?

RH means relative humidity.

You got it, RH is relative humidity but the same really. I prefer RH in the 30's during flowering. Normal range is 40-60. IMO 40-50 is IDEAL. Also correct on the watered plants part, the RH rises. You should be all set I just want you to be aware so you can avoid problems.

FROM GROWFAQ.

What range should I maintain for my growroom humidity and temperature?

Added by: MedMan.
Humidity and temperature gauge are essential in any growroom. Daytime conditions should be 70-80 degrees without co2, 80-90 degrees with co2 until the last two weeks when daytime temps should be kept between 70-80 and co2 can be reduced to adjust for the lower metabolism. Night temperatures should be kept above 60 degrees to prevent stress. It is preferrable during flowering to have a night temperature drop of 10-20 degrees to stimulate flowering hormones and reduce stem elongation.

I find that low humidity causes stress on plants. I recommend 50-60% humidity until the final 2 weeks of flowering. At this point, the humidity should be lowered as much as possible to encourage the plant to seal and protect itself with additional resin. (I am able to get the humidity to go as low as 31%) I have been able to frost things up considerably this way. The higher humidity levels prior to final ripening reduce salt levels within the plant tissue and encourage healthy, more lush growth.

Funny how you post a pic of an EMPTY room and then proceed to tell me how many "times" it has been filled.
Believe what you want as i dont have to prove anything to you. You show me some plants as a symbol of your skillfull growing and expect me to comment on it. I aint interested as i have forgotten more than you will ever know.

I dont know overgrow but how do you know you have been here longer than me ?????????.
By assuming the join dates. You need to look deeper before assuming.

Hey North E. lights, I was told by someone at my local hydro grow store to keep the Exaust on 24/7 and just have the intake fan on a thermostat, they said that having the exaust on all the time won't hurt the plants at all....What is your take on this?
