Hello all. First timer here. Just wanted to post my plan for my lighting setup and get some feedback from the community.
Parts:
BXRC-27E10K0-C-73-SE (spectrum of 2700k for Flower)- X 10 of them
BXRC-30E10K0-C-73-SE (spectrum 3000k for flower) - X 10 of them
BXRC-50C10K1-C-74-SE (spectrum 5000k for Veg) - X 20 of them
(The Driver which can run up to 10 at a time)
HVGC-650-M-AB - X 2 of them for now (will get 2 more If needed).
Wiring:
I'm planning on running all the COB's on the lowest (and most efficient amperage of 0.855 amps) so that a single driver can handle 10. It would be 5 cobs in parallel followed by 5 more (or two in series).
4.275 Amps = 0.855 Amps x 5
132.4 Volts = 66.2 Volts x 2
566 Watts = 56.6 Watts x 10
PPFD:
I wanted to use 10 Vero 29' SE's for my (10x15 foot) grow but based on this [https://www.waveformlighting.com/horticulture/convert-lux-to-ppfd-online-calculator] calculator it seems I need at least 20 (all the COB's I have for each phase of growth).
I was conservative and assumed each COB would only produce 15,000 lumens that comes out to a lux to 21527.82 as per this calculator [https://www.rapidtables.com/calc/light/lumen-to-lux-calculator.html]
Then using this calculator [https://www.waveformlighting.com/horticulture/convert-lux-to-ppfd-online-calculator] im told I get around
371 umol/s/m2 for 6500K (im applying this to my 5000K COB's) & 409.62 umol/s/m2 for 3000k (my mix of COB's @ 2700k and 3000k).
Does this all make sense?
