I just checked the optic lineup and CXB3070s ran at 2.15 which is fine but running the CXB3070 at 2.5 doesn't make since to me in the 400watt model. Why not the CXB3590?I don't think they are as of now. The website is back online.. bunch of models missing, including mine.. which upset me as I clearly stated to them when ordering and after the fact in a separate email.. "I'm going to give this model a try, and if it performs well..order one or two more." They could have let me know my model was being discontinued weeks later.. it was a little unsettling. The light is great.. but the whole 2 month order process, return, problem, problem, problem thing I experienced with them was terrible. Not to mention when they had their phones and email shut off.. ughhh.. I sat with a broken item in a box for 12 days before I could even reach someone. It was a huge pain in the ass to buy this light from them.. but alas.. I have one.. in working condition.
Next light... DIY method. I'm not going through that again. I paid almost $1k for peace of mind.. and simplicity from ordering from a company who would build, deliver, and back a product with a warranty.. any hopes of peace of mind and simplicity went straight out the window when their phone was disconnected.
The CXB200 looks to still be very good fixture though
200watt and 400watt Vero29 optic models still look to be there best bang.
I would much rather run a Vero29 100watts than CXB3070.
Ive told em over and over that the 90 watt and 120 watt Vero29 were spaced way to close for the wattage they running and it really needs to be fixed if they plan on keeping up in the COB world.
