2x2 grow tent with 4 cobs, which would you choose and why? Also what driver for them around 50w per cob?
Care to elaborate?
I can't see going with 3590's due to costs but you are free to explain what you mean if you'd like.
The lights I built this time last year are cxa3070's on 1500ma Chinese drivers and I'm extremely impressed, I feel I could even drop down to 1400ma. I would actually build 4 more exactly like them but iirc the cxb3070's are only a couple dollars more than the cxa's so it only makes sense to upgrade.
Anyone else have an opinion?
Why? Only using 4 cobs, if you're willing to pay $5-8 more for cxB3070's why not pay $7-10 more for the cxB3590's? Holders, lenses all that good stuff, is priced almost identically.Ok, 3590's are not even an option here but thanks.
Vero29 or CXB3070, which one and why?
Vero 29 is more efficient and cheaper I think...If you go to a fast food restaurant and the cashier asks if you would like straight or curly fries, do you reply that you want a loaded bake potato when that's not on the menu?
Simple question here, vero29 or cxb3070? I know there is someone here running vero29's and someone here running cxb3070's, can I hear their opinion why they chose what they did?
3070's will be better for you.2x2 grow tent with 4 cobs, which would you choose and why? Also what driver for them around 50w per cob?
Agreed3070's will be better for you.
The will perform slightly better and save you on driver cost/struggle for your setup.
4 3070's on a hlg185h-c1400 will be perfect
Okay. My apologies. But that analogy doesn't really apply here. Anywhere online 3070's are available, so are 3590''s .

I have no problem building them, just deciding what to run. Thanks to GG, SupraSPL, a friend from another site and a bunch of others I learned a lot last year but I know the tech changes rapidly and wanted an opinion on these two cobs.
