verti strain HELP PLEASE!!!

 hey u guys , i'm thinking about going to vertical , at the time i'm doing hydro flat garden but i heard a good things about verti growing , best results for a square foot output , but like every grow technique verti got pros and cons, and one of the cons what hit me off the most is light bulb to the plant ratio , in flat gardens u can adjust ur light but in verti it stays in the same place all the time , so more the plants grow less space they have between them and a light bulb .
Witch brings me to my question :
What is the best strain in ur guys opinion to grow in verti set up? , I am looking for something short with a good yield ,any input will be helpful u guys.

ok little bit about the set up what i wanna do , construction i will begin in about a month or maybe less than a month from now but the concept is going to be the one that i found on this page:

http://www.aristabc.com/products.asp

scroll down the page and find product name "the cage" , I wanna make something like that from pvc pipes fittings , u can find them in any hardware store , I haven't decide it on lights yet , i have two 600w cool tube lights that i bought for this project but now I'm thinking to upgrade to two 1000w lights , but we will c,
I am going to set my lights up in a "chain" style and vent them so heat from them is not going to be that big of the problem i hope, and i will take a lot of pics during construction and of a finish product and post them here so u guys can tell me what u think and maybe they will help someone to get the idea for their vertic grow , o yea and any thoughts how to efficiently introduce co2 to the vertic grow , in a flat garden i tape tube to my oscillating fan , and let fan do the work to spread the co2 thru the room but in vertic i have only one idea in mind to hook up long spaghetti tubing to my co2 tank , plug my tubing on the end shut and make small holes thru the tubing, let that tubing runs upwards in my vertic grow so the co2 would spread evenly , any input on that?

ok i went off the subject .
Vertic strains u guys , for those who already growing in vertic and u already have experience in it , please help me
i don't wanna make any mistakes and pick strain that would overgrow my space , and i want a good yielder .

Thanks peoples , and ill be waiting for an answer.

Ps: if u guys have any input about my grow set up what I'm planning to do , feel free to let me know .

Thank You

For a vertical strain I'd go with the most vigorous strain you can if you have the room for it
I did vert with skywalker and they came out puny and scraggly (but potent as hell)
The next time I went with a BC big bud/kush cross and it went berserk-o-matic on me....

Get the ones that have the most explosive growth during the first few weeks of flowering....you will be rewarded

After all, we're going for the most yield per watt per square foot....the whole purpose of verticalizin'

Dunno man (never verted yet) but I would go with something you already know. At least then you'll have some idea how they'll behave.

My best strain for vert was a critical+ pheno. When I flipped at 12" it ended at 18 to 20" , with 12 to 13" forearm sized cola's with very few fan leafs. A lot of strains will do well, it just about pheno selection in my opinion.

I think sticking with something you know is a good idea. Chances are what you're growing in your tables now is going to be suited to what you want to do vertically.

For vert your don't want anything too short. No straight indicas for sure. You want a little bit of stretch to take advantage of the vertical light. I think heath recommended 50/50 hybrids.
