Vertical Coco Tent Grow-Breeder's Boutique Deep Psychosis, Sour Cherry & Qrazy Quake

Instead of by time I transplant in relation to plant size. The biggest I'll let a plant get in a solo is 12" slightly smaller if its bushier. If left in too long Iv noticed growth slows to a grind and any new growth is stretchy, then eventually health issues arrive after that. When using synthetics this is not entirely the case. What Iv heard sub say and I agree with is its best to transplant when the plant wont even notice its been moved, ie: not too rootbound but enough roots to where the medium doesn't fall apart.

And as said a few posts above, only time iv seen x-plant shock is when "wrangling" big ass plants.
Iv seen this hightimes grow vid where the guy was literally tearing the plant out of the container lmao how that made it into an instructional vid by them I have no clue, it was a seriously bad ass room too! The whole time hes saying "now you want to be as careful as possible not to damage the roots" (tearing, odd expression on dudes face)

edit: lol I found it. @ 15:50, wtf are you doing bro? First off fill the container 1/2 way, then put your hand over the soil surface firmly and flip the plant upside down,,, now give it a downward "jolt" and out she comes. Place into the big container and fill in.

I think I get this jist of xplanting. Damn dude I watched the first 15 min thinking to myself, does this guy even know what he's saying? Twin, I remove them slightly differently. I squeeze or press the bottom of the container after I flip the plant upside down. But never digging my hands in the pot like that unless I'm trying to destroy the plant (aka after harvest).

Jig I cringed as well. The fucker tried playing it off saying the rootball wasn't very deep. We all know it's because he left half of it in the pot. LOL. Jig you got it all wrong. First you need a machete to cut the old diaper off. Then the sand paper and torch.

I have to say this soil bit suits me.

Yea it was definitely one of my newb moments. It was my first outdoor year lol. Tried transplanting from a 20 gallon to a 100 gallon. Well, I guess I shouldn't say I tried, as the tree was in fact relocated. However I don't think I saw any new growth for probably a week, and those first few days it had the classic over watering looking droop to it

Shit man I make them every week it seems like. That's a monster though to try to do by yourself man. Makes sense about the growth. That's what they mean by transplant shock. It's how many branches you bust or bend xplanting …lol. Hopefully I can avoid doing that. But hey I got talent for the clumsy. lol.

Plants are doing fine. I'm findin I have to water them nearly every day, well the solo cups anyways. One of the QQ is leaning kinda weird and looks a little straggly but healthy nonetheless. The small banana puffs are starting to catch the other solo babies. The LST on the larger ones are slowly progressing. The larger banana puff hasn't shown any preflowers yet but I'm hoping. If not ill have gotten some good practice in LSTing.

Aside from growing life has been pretty good. I have wondering lately about one of the women I was recently talking to. Her and I were cool before I left for Thailand. The day I arrive there she got locked up for driving with a suspended liscense. 3rd offense. She's been in jail since and her arraignment is later this month. I'm wondering if I should write her or not? I got along with her pretty well, however, she does have another part to her which I haven't met/accounted for yet…she has a daughter that's 6 y/o. I don't know whether she's worth talking to considering her recent situations.

Yea the QQ is leaning pretty good. I'll get some pics up later tonight. I just gave them solo babies some water so they'll be picture perfect (ish) when I do. lol. The QQ was leaning a little when it sprouted but now it seems more accentuated now that it's growing up. It's actually growing to the edge of the light for some reason. I keep wanting to type she. lol. Still throwing the female vibes at em all. They are all looking pretty good though. And G will be happy to know that the Banana Puffs are starting to get going and even catching up. I think they are ready for some tea soon too, gotta check when I threw them into the solos. The big ones look good. The bigger banana puff still isn't showing preflowers yet. In time I suppose.

Yea the chic is definitely a tough call. I'm definitely with you on the all girls are cray cray bit. I was just explaining to a friend of mine on fb that she needs to look at the good guys, so I suppose it works both ways. But chics are a different kinda cray. lol. This chic though isn't gonna put me in any kinda weird situation, just don't like that she didn't tell me she was on probation and shit. It wasn't lying but it wasn't telling the truth either. ya know?

That was kinda my thinking behind it. I mean you can get a BPO (business purposes only) license and woulda been fine. Grown folk needa act grown. Same boat though man sorta, no chic, no kids so I can do more of what I please.

Oh and I think soon as I find a house I'm gonna be jumping up to a larger tent. 4' x 4' or 5' x 5'. I'm gonna keep with the 600W though. May incorporate a light mover. Then also thinking about barebulbing it and getting a larger carbon filter. I think I'm pulling too many CFM's for it to work at optimum level. It's gonna require some new or repurposing/repositioning existing equipment. For the interim though, I'm gonna stick to what I've been doing as far as environment.

Well as previously promised how about some pictures? It kinda surprises me it's already been three weeks in soil (just give it to me, it's only two more days..lol). So as it turns out I will be brewing some tea this weekend. Now the only real questions I have at this point are: do I just add all the ingredients to the bag that came with the brewer to brew the tea in? (seems like a lot of people do without), should I be watering directly after applying the tea? I'm pretty sure I won't need a full batch of tea just yet as the little ones need another few days before I begin xplanting. The other thing I've also just realized is I may be short on soil. Go fucking figure right? lol. I also figure that by the time I weed out the males, I'll probably be sitting perfect on soil. The other thing I was thinking was possibly leaving some of the smaller ones in their solos and making a new batch of soil (half batch) after I get some of the larger ones xplanted. Aright so I think I have a plan hashed out for the next week or so. I have my water sitting out for 24 hours to evap the chlorinefrom the water which will be for the tea brew. So tomorrow I'll throw in the ingredients for the tea and let it brew for two days. Which puts me at Monday when tea is ready. Which is when I will begin xplanting the solos. I'm just gonna pray that skimming a little from each pot will put me where I need to be for all of them to be xplanted. I'm gonna be out of town for a couple days towards the end of next week. Being in their larger pots will hopefully allow them to be fine in my absence. I do have a friend that I can call to check on them for me if need be. So I figure by Monday/Tuesday everyone will be in their home. Then I'm gonna go grab a couple more bags of EWC and make a half batch of soil that I'll use to top dress a little due to my skimming. So there it is a plan if I run low on soil. I may not need it but best to plan for the worst right? I think I may be perfect on soil shy if my conservative calcs are right. I'm only calculated the 2 bags of coco used (3.5 cu ft = 26 gallons) and two bags were used. 17 babies so 3 gal a piece puts me at 51 gallons to the 52 gallons I should have.

I say the plan sounds good! Iv left plants for over a week before doing exactly what your talking about. Transplant, then given a few days to establish with a little water, then complete drenching of the containers. Has worked really well for me in the past.
One thing that can be overlooked when calculating soil (for me atleast lol) is accounting for the soil you already have... Like this, say you have 4plants in 1.5 gallon containers and you want to xplant into 5 gallon containers you need 14 gallons not 20 because of the 6 you already have. Im thinking you already thought of that though JUST SAYIN!

Thanks G. I agree the plants all look pretty healthy. I'm also imagining what they'll look like after a week in the larger pots. Oh I found an easy way to lst too. I tie some garden ties two nodes from the top and the other end to my shelving they are sitting on. Each day I just rotate the pot slightly and voila. Plant is wrapping around the circumference of the pot. I'll probably have to use some more ties later but for right now its working fairly easily.

I keep looking at the banana puff everyday hoping to see preflowers. I will say one thing all of them have some pretty tight node spacing. While I understand part of that is distance to the light the other part has to be the genetics maybe.

I'll be doing what I love most of the weekend, working with the plants. I hope you enjoy your weekend as well.

Well I didn't exactly think of it like that as far as the containers they are in. I went straight from the amount of soil I had before they went in to soil then figured out the pot size and shit. Either way gets you to the same answer.

Gotta love Fab man. His Soul Tape mixtapes (1&2) were niiiice. I haven't been playing great pool lately, I think it might have something to do with the amount I'm drinking when I'm playing...lol. But in any case I'm gonna try to run it.
