Vertical Grow 400 Watt Hps. Blueberry Dutch Passion

Hey! Just read the whole thread and was reminded of a setup I saw a few years back. Flip flop system, 3 lights (1000 watters), hung vertically, 8 plants around each one in 5 gallon bags. Rotated each day and examined as well to determine health, bugs etc. Only on the ground so it was only one level but looking down on it looked like 3 crop circles, true that the plants were rock hard all the way down and with the addition of Epson salts they stayed green all the way thru. In the end it produced almost 3 ounces a plant. 48 plants, 6 lights, 80 grams per plant, equalled 1.4 pds a light. I guess if someone had the time and space this method would be nice to have but it is alot of work, and you would have to sleep in the dining room because the veg room would be in the washroom, people love the flip flop system but again the work load is continuous, and your not gonna have much of a life until you decide to pack it in. Then again the things some people do for money! Take it easy boys, everything's lookin good.

Looking good! A buddy of mine has a bath tub with four plants and vertical 250w hps. He also has a 250w hps above the plants but he is only 22 days into flowering on his first grow with this set up.

The mouse is in the house MEEOOWWW. I love EEK A Mouse. So does you buddy get good results with his system.?

That sounds like way too much work for me at least. I am sticking with what I got, I think it will do well.

Its one thing to grow , but when ur growing with ur plants lol . Cheking on ur plants 3 times a day is perfect , twice to water them and once to inspect them.

I am starting my own grow room. What do you think of using a 1000w light in your set up? How far away from the plants does it need to be? How many plants could I get around it and still get good results?

1000 watter I would make a put the light about 4 feet from the ground. And put two steps with plants, then I would put plants on the floor under the light too. dude you could do a lot of plants . I would do cycles so you can harvest like every two weeks. You could do 4 cycles of probably 10 plants, 40 in your grow are at once. The side plants should be about 3 feet away from the light.

This is his first grow with this set-up and his plants are looking really good so far. He has four GDP purple clones in five gal pots that have been flowering for 22days. This was also his first LST grow and the plants have some nice bud sites.

when are you going to put up some new pics. of them for us to drool over....oh yeah iam high

I will get some up tonight, your going to be happy. My grow room reeks so bad, I mean good. Also my clones I think are rooted, I will get pics of that too. Not one dead.

this guy rated my diesel at 4.5 out of ten, if my diesel is a 4.5 then your scwaggy garden is a 2.0

and there is definately not enough lumens, i can tell by the stretching, and you most likely just have a sylvania bulb rather than a hortilux ... well here is my diesel tell me rollitup if its a 4.5 or if this guys an arrogant bastard

Well I agree it looks photoshopped, but anyways ur asking for a rating? I'd give it a 5 for quantity, but an 8 for looks. The buds should have been bigger and tighter, not seperated and by the looks of the leaves and brown pistils I'm pretty sure you have a week or so to go, maybe they'll fatten up a little. Maybe you sprayed the plants while the light was on and burnt some pistils, and they have another 4 weeks to go. In my experience they look like possibly a third or more in size than what they should be if they're done. I could go on about possibilities but that's all I will say. Good luck on your next crop. Oh and by the way! I see a little rust going on, that's a sign of a magnesium deficiency. Growth is slower, and overall vigor is lost. That's probably why they're not developing to their full potential. Do you use epson salts at all? Again this may be only one problem your facing but from one pic that's all I can give.
