Spot sprayed with greencure on some infected leaves for PM but the sulphur burner seems to be doing well at keeping it at bay after the enitial fighting, just a few traces deep in their.... with how easy it sets in, I am amazed to have never dealt with this problem before.

Clearex leached no salts and tds/ppm went down 20 during the 24 hours I cycled it... So I am stoked that I am keeping it as clean as I try to but not knowing drives me mad... But pretty sure I got it figured out after a bit more studying... 20+ years at yhis and still figuring it out... The whole short term memory loss thing keeps me on a constent quest for knowledge

so, the tds going down was perhaps chlorine evaporating? How often doyou burn the sulphur or is it a constant burn? also was wondering if you have any pics of your system empty?

Wasn't anything to do with the vaporizer, hadn't burned for over 5 days... I have s couple videos of it empty but no pictures right now.. Will try to get something up but the video wasn't a simple paste like the pics, some URL request and that I'd way way past my computer know how

I have the same issue with AN's Sensi bloom. I am doing a side by side grow with AN's grow micro bloom and the Sensi. This is my first time running the grow, micro, bloom. So far I like it a lot better then the sensi as it is a lot easier to tweek it. I dont get burnt running normal ppm
Yup - I really like the Micro-Grow-Bloom too since it seems to work better for my plants.

I've used the Sensi too, but if I had to choose just one to use for the rest of my grows, it would be the Grow-Micro-Bloom. Totally great nutes and they work well consistently...

Nice thread here....

Pump went out last night and clones got wiped out... Took new ones and they are back on with new pump... Flowering room 2 is still drinking almost a gallon per hour

Wow, subbed for sure - are one of those pumps feed and one a return, or does gravity handle the return for you?

And what exactly do you attach the twisty ties to - I made my own little octagon thingy and haven't figured out yet how to build a screen for it.

Seeing as how we seem to run very similar setups, would love to stay in touch - here's a short vid (return pumps have since been replaced with a matching 1/6HP pump) - mine's lit with 4 600s and a vertitube from Octagon Hydroponics.

90 4" PVC wyes, 15 sided.

Longtime gardener (relatively speaking) but first time vertical grower, so look for any pointers I can get.

Thanks for taking the time to post this, much appreciated - BTW, have a journal at another site I keep much more updated than this site if you're interested in bouncing ideas off of each other.

EDIT: looked harder at the pics and saw the screens - what are they and how did you make them, if you don't mind me asking.

Also, you gave a lot of measurements in the first post but I'm still unsure as to the actual dimensions of your octagon(s) - what kind of diameter are you working with? Mine is 7' from edge to edge (outside diameter), but 5.5' from wye tip to wye tip (inside or "working" diameter). Just curious how yours stacks up in terms of size.

Sorry to hear about your plants dying - really that quick from a pump going out? Would've thought you'd have at least a 24 hour window to save them, sucks bro.

Looks a lot like Heaths flooded tube style. I dunno if you guys have seen that grow so heres the link, Amazing fuckin grow:

As for the PM I would suggest spraying the entire crop with the Greencure. Lift the leaves up, spin the plants, try to cover every square inch, get a backpack sprayer with a wand if you have to. The sulfur will taste like shit and only stop PM on surfaces that arent covered by leaves. PM lives in the stem of the plant and there is no cure for it so you have to be dilligent with management.

What's the happs guys, been busy and have neglected to post but will get back soon... I made my cage out of fencing material from home depot and attached to bolts I cemented into ground and just a quick rig up on ceiling... All my styles are super simple just gotta put it all together in my head first... As for pumps... I have two 2400 gph pondmaster delivering and one 700 returning... They are both run off of seperte interval timers... Will post some pics soon!

Would love to hear about your pumps and timers - I currently have two 1/6HP pumps (one feed, one return) running off of the same short cycle timer - how are you getting away with such a small return pump?

I run it longer or I will run more often... The return is good for mixing tank even though I have powerhead for circulation and airstones...
