Hi all hope every one is Merry and having a good crimbo....:weed:


just another quck update, we think we got our flowering room sorted now, the plants are growing quick now....we have also got 15 clones in our veg room which are now looking alot healthier just gonna let them grow some more and then fill our flowering room out as soon as the 2 plants in flowere are ready for harvest....:hump:.... the 2 plants in flower 1 has been topped the other has been left, as this is our first grow we wasnt sure which way to go about it so we decieded to do both but not sure when we get our clones in, if we should top them all or do half and half.....me an my m8 were stood with them watching and am sure we could see them growing ...i thought smokin it was addictive but this growing is more lol:weed:

i hear ya, growing has caused me to lose sleep, and when i do sleep i have dreams about it. they say smoking pot isn't addictive its just very nice. the grows looking good. if you do decide to top some and not the others, the only negative thing i can think of is a uneven garden canopy, so you'll have to adjust it accordingly. happy new year also.

BigSkyBudTHC thanks for your comments m8 an a happy new year (and to all that pop in)....me an my m8 have had a chat and went an bought another pump and resevoir so we can feed our 2 big planting pots seperatly....this means that as soon as our clones are a little bigger we can start filling the room an not wait till our 2 plants have been harvested ... abt another week maybe 2 we see how our clones grow.....:bigjoint:we are gonna top half our clones in 1 pot and leave the others in the other pot and just adjust our 2 lights above each pot.....

we also took another 10 clones aswell today:weed:

How often do you need to check the pH levels of the water?
How often does the resevoir water need to be exchanged?
Also, as a resevoir and potentials for leaking is the the basic rubbermaid 20 gallon bin fine or should I use the 27 gallon HEAVY DUTY bin from Lowes?

The system of use is the " green man" hydroponic grow system from youtube.
400 watt flowering room! 4 plants in flowering room @ a time.

hi m8 i check our ph levels every day sometimes twice to be certain...as we are not using disttilled water what we do is fill a bucket and let it stand for a few days then add our ph down...
We change the wateer in the resevioir when we notice the ec level going up instead of down,usually every week we do a water change.. Am not a plumber and we have no leaks just lots of silicone as long as its not to weak should be fine... Yes our setup is like the greenthumb dude on you tube, we 2x 400win our flower room a bulb above each potting bed..hope this helps and welcome onboard..:-o:weed:

whats up SB finally got a chance to drop by and checkk out your cheese and hey the ladies look very good seems like you have a couple nice mothers as well evrything seems to be on pace and well done im here for the ride cant wait for them to finish.. peace pot prosperity

hi guys

no worries bigsky i hear ya :lol:


well this brings us almost up to date but will update again if poss.

we gonna sort the 2nd tray and pump later and maybe transfer the 1st and 2nd set of clones into the flowering room as we will have 2 independent res ,s and pumps as the 2 mothers well into flower are on full nutes+boost etc.

the 1st mother we put into flower is looking good and now starting to see sum reel thc build up:eyesmoke:.

we did burn the top a bit about a week back with the light too close but nothing too serious

over in the veg room 3rd set of clones almost ready to come out of prop and will go onto bed and into 3" cubes.when we move the 1st and 2nd set.then we cut more and fill up prop again:lol:

sorry about the pic quality guys but get lines because of the power cables in the flower room lol

so heres sum more pics bringing us upto yesterday

Hi peeps another update the flower room is now complete, pump resevoir and heater all fitted and running....we have also potted 8 of our clones now that we know for sure we have all girls:clap: we still have 7 clones but are gonna let these grow now till we have room, abt 4/5 weeks we think we got left to flower our 2 plants, then we can fill this pot not sure if we will be able to fit 8 as they are gonna be a little taller so may onlt fit 6 but we will see:weed:.
We have also cleaned our ressy and just added water, ph is 5.8 let the 2 plants feed on that through the night and then tomoz back on full nutes and boost and oxygen boost lol(while lights are on they get 3 feeds at 5 mins each, which fills and floods the planting pot.)we have also noticed a bit of algie on our rockwool cubes so our next job is to cut some small pieces of card cover with mylar and cover the top..... added some pics aswell enjoy..peace:weed:

do you remember when you were just hoping to get some bud off your first run? i was the same way, just hoping to get some good bud off my first grow. now the sky is the limit. keep up the good grow.

thanks for ya comments ...hear you on tht 1 m8...looking forward to smoking our own personal smoke so much, with our lovin tendering care haha hope it smokes as good as its lookin :bigjoint: 3 days since clones moved an they are lovin it ...also did some small amount of pruining to the clones .........added some pics enjoy .........peace

sum more bud shots here and thanks for the info mikegreenthumb in your journal.

so with the amount of red hairs now showing when should we flush?we can start flush tomorrow though if needed , almost 6 weeks in now.

the main bud is not joined and full yet though and the hairs are all white up there:?: and she has still got loads and loads of healthy green leaves.

and whats this about staggered harvest i been readin guys?does this mean we could just flush and take the buds that are ready.

then go back on nutes till we need to flush again?or even keep off nutes and continue to flush until the other buds are done?.this would give our other mother chance to catch up as shes about a week behind ,

also the main bud would fill out more.mmm just a thought .feel free to comment as its our 1st grow an am no expert


used a different camera an everythin just looks orange:lol: ...will take more pics tomorrow with other cam

go ahead and start flush only water or water n molassis 1 teaspoon a gallon of water also u can kick up lights for increase bud\thc growth


staggered havest is bs and see greenmans page on re veging plants also see uncle bens post on neverending phos abuse

cheers mike great info and much appreciated .will talk to my m8 and prob put them on flush later .will also pop out and get some molasses :-P.

for lights not sure as we got tray 2 with clones only 6 days in .will these be ok on a 13/11....14/10? if not we keep em 12/12 as this was only a test flower anyways with the mothers we no longer needed just to make sure the flower room was ok

i think the post by greenman and ub are the ones ive seen,and we do have copper colored spots on the big fan leaves indicating an overfert prob so flush does sound good now

there's so much info about getting to know what the plants are telling us

still gotta lot to learn but learned so much already :mrgreen:
