very dissapointed in easy ryder seeds from attitude seed bank >_<

so i decided to try out easy ryder, since hearing so many good things about this strain on the internet, got 3 fem seeds from attitude seed bank, all germinated, however, for some odd reason, it will not grow on my coco coir mixed with 20% perlite and 10% vericure from botanicare. took about a week and half for the beans to spout into seedilngs, however before the real leafs showed up, well, they never got there...

so did i do something wrong here or is it just the seeds?

also, i ordered some dr. grinspoon from attitude seed bank also, they turned out to be GREAT

So they germinated but didn't sprout?

i got 20 easy riders and they all germinated they all grew but the yeild was a bunch of shit

Any chance that one or more of your medium ingredients contain nutrients? Check the labels carefully. Also how long has it been since you began germinating? did you plant root tip up or down?

i planted the roots down, two of them the green part came out, but didn't make it some how... i did the samething as i did to my dr. grin spoon seeds but this time it didn't fall through i guess

I bought 10 Easy Rider Seeds from Amsterdam Seeds. Germinated them in paper towls, they sprouted in 2 days and all are doing great under LED and in ffof with ff fertilizers. they seem to take the heat in my garage pretty well too with a few days going over 95f.

Some plants are much more sensitive to nutrients as sprouts, did you verify that there was no additional fertilizer in the perlite?

the are known to handle exteme temps great

yes there was no fertilizer. just coco, perlite, and vermicure. of course also gh's ph down. water ph to 6.0. maybe just a bad batch of seeds..... it took them like 2 days for the 1st bean to pop, then two days later the rest poped.

mate i brought 2 packs myself and i really regret it not only are they over priced but on 2 actually came out of 6, i now order them off another company not only do i save a third but they all sprouted and have done me proud. this is an excellent strain if u know how to grow some people say they get shit yeilds but if they are there gonna pull shit yeilds off everything... i also have them in cocoa. A BIT OF ADVICE.. soak the seeds in warm water not boiling but warm then use roots exceluarator or plant start if ur cash starpped to guarantee them sprouting in a propagator then exchange them to ur larger cocoa pots then u should make it... hope this helps mate... over n out.... They take it like arabians in a desert mate, best thing since sliced bread, quick n easy and if u know wat ur doin big bukkas in little space....

I ordered 5 easy ryder seeds from attitude and they arrived in January. They were all small seeds compared to the rest of the order, all of them popped in germination and so far only 1 of 5 has sprouted after better than 9 days and that one was growing like a dwarf. I'd stay away from the Easy ryders shipping out of attitude for now. Tap roots aren't taking off on any of mine with 5.5pH water under 78 degrees.

I think there is an element of luck. They cant test them all in the shop! All my seeds have sprouted and grown fine from them but I had a problem with another supplier.

I bought 2 easy ryder AK47 and they are both growing well. One is tall and light green, the other is short and dark green. The have the same soil, water, nutrients and light (slightly less for shorter one). I know this because I planted them in the same pot! Tut Tut. I didnt think they could be different heights. Different mums I suppose.

I couldnt find a reliable place to germinate my seeds so I had quite a few fail for different reasons. I bought a Garland propogator for £20 and it has paid for itself already. Looking back probably all the seeds were OK. Plus I know to look the next day as it is less variable. Once sprouted it is into a mini pot with a see through lid (to keep things moist) and hey presto.

Reading the forum, people seem to spend a lot of money on seeds but then don't follow up with a good growing enviroment - one small bulb, small pot, bad drainage, too many plants per bulb, etc etc.

If you get the germinating, soil, light and heat right, then you give them a very good chance. If things start to go pear shape then usually you can improve things by flushing or more/less nutrients. If it is already struggling you are going to get a poor harvest at best. At worst failed plants and a waste of your time, bulb life and electricity. All those hours of dreaming really do go up in smoke.

It might sound obvious but the number of photos where the seed is probably more expensive than the set up.......If I am paying £9 per seed its going to be travelling 1st class all the way. You get a better harvest too so even more bang for your buck.
