yeah it was during the nixon administration, I just read about it for a paper I had to write...

and the fact that it was the chems and not the weed is the point I was making, do your homework, and really think about the facts.... I think he just jumped to a conclusion and ran with it, not realizing that we would challange his sources

And so?? What else is news?? Anslinger just lied and every "Drug Czar" in the USA since has gone along with the lies. When will they learn that prohobition does not work? How many more years??? This whole Bruce Lee died from hash thing is just more anti-pot bullshit as far as I can see. If "hashkill" is still out there I'm waiting for documentation on this. Saying that there was a conspricy to conceal the facts is not proof!!

:joint:Watch "Grass" a film by Ron Mann for a good explanation of how the drug laws in the USA came to be and Harry J. Anslingers place in it all. Entertaining and educational too, Woody Harrelson narrates. You'll have to find the DVD somewhere , it's not available online. Worth buying though, I have 2 copies, VHS and DVD.:joint:

When it is eaten, it's more powerful and deadlier than smoking it, since. ALL of the alkaloids in the hashish when eaten (as Bruce did since he was careful about his health) are absorbed into the bloodstream.

They probably don't make that type of hash anymore in Nepal or do a better job of cleaning it up so it doesn't cause health problems. That kind of junk Bruce was eating might as well been a bottle of nail polish remover--poison.

Even though he had been eating cannabis (without incident) since the mid 1960's when Steve McQueen introduced it to him, while he was in Hong Kong he was buying a super strong type of hash from Nepal. He was hypersensitive to this particular type.

1. Isn't hash all THC with just variable purity and stuff to cut it with?

2. if it is cleaned to not kill people, it means that the junk and chemicals in it are deadly not the hash.

3. People are hypersensitive to peanuts too.. we call it an allergy.. people die from peanut allergies.. let's ban peanuts :)

You remember the movie "reefer madness" that was the start of the anti-pot propaganda. It was the old try it once and you're hooked bullshit, showed potheads running around like raving lunitics. Most "potheads" that I know wouldn't run around for shit....well maybe for more smoke or ass :o

I'd worry more about bin laden screwing with the junk. Poison 1 oz of heroin with any contagen and ....well you get it . By the time they tracked people, not junkies but weekend users... office workers... teachers... and prob some politicans we're toast

he died from a bloodclot on the brain,,,some ppl thought it was a painkiller that killed him coz before he died he took a painkiller coz he wernt feeling well,,,,so hashish did not kill him,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,peace
