Thanks alot guys for the info and also for the source of entertainment. I am going to post a picture of my baby when the lights go back on so you guys can give me feed back if shes ready for transplant or not.

You want it nice and wet. Then let it sit. If your in a plastic cup then just got down the edge and remove the cup..

I prefer to transplant more dry than wet. If the soil is saturated and you don't have a full root system to hold everything together, the weight of the soil will cause it to sag and slough off. I like to start in peat pots for the tiny seedlings, your first transplant you just replant the peat pot w/zero damage to roots.

As far as lining the bottom of the containers I use used dryer sheets to cover the holes. Water runs right through them and they keep soil from falling out, more of a sanitation thing.

dryer sheets have a lot of chemicals in them..they are meant to make things smell and be more soft and less staticy..i would switch to paper coffee filters this way your roots wont suck up excess chemical.

or you can use a lot of little pebbels. kind of acts like a part hydro grow if you leave water in the drip container.
 
DONT BE STRESSED! your plants pick up on your negative electrical discharge, stay positive.. your plants will grow better! BEST OF LUCK!
