very tall sproutlings

now its only my second time and i was just messing around i had some good seeds so i planted them..... well now i have 10 sprouts but they are so incredibly tall and just flop right over I'm not to sure of the wattage of the light but what causes this

the seedlings sound like there stretching for light put the lights closer

what type of lights are you using ed?

what kind of lights are you using? If your plants are that stretched they do not have enough light or the light is not close enough...

So the first problem is find out what kind of light are you using....and then get some more of the RIGHT lights and then replant your "sprouts" so that the soil is at the first set of leaves.

you might need a fan in there to strengthen the stalks...

For the time being bring the lights closer for sure and gently tie the plants to a support. I use cotton bud sticks with the cotton stripped off, will easily come off in ur hands with no mess, use a line of cotton to gently pull them to the stick.

For now while they are flopping id advise against lots of air pushing them around but make sure the air has a gentle breeze to encourage a stronger stem.

My girls sprouted fast as hell despite having a light nearby, dont be afraid to add a little extra soil too when you tie them to their support
