Vinegar

So im getting cal mag, because my one plant is having a deficiency. I just tested the soil, and it looks like the ph is around 7.2. I put soil in a glass and poured some water in it. How much vinegar do you guys use in a gallon to fox this issue?

If you're gonna use vinegar, you might want to use the organic apple cider vinegar.
I got apple cidar vinegar, dont think its organic, but it is what it is. I got lemon juice as well. How much do you guy use? Should I test soil or water ph? I'm confused to how to deal with this issue

Lemon juice works too. I use citric acid occasionally. 1/16 tsp per gal, brings 7.5 water to about 6.8. I bought a huge bag off Amazon that will last me forever. I usually just give plain non pH'd water to my plants though. But I'm growing in soil with organics so the soil buffers the pH for me for the most part.

I'd just fill up a gallon jug and add a tsp of vinegar and check the pH. Then add more if you need to. I think you'll need like a Tbls per gal, but I haven't used vinegar in a long time.

Oh and how are you testing the soil pH? Is it one of those cheap green meters from Amazon? If so it's garbage.

Don't change your ph
You are thinking your plants are to slow or something
I run 8.1 water into my soil every week
I heard that is way to high. I heard if its high it can't take in the nutrients it needs, or do you guys think cal mag will be all I need. No other plant I have is having issues like that guy. Hes a different strain though

I didn't read this right the first time. I thought you were trying to adjust the feed water. Vinegar is not gonna lower your soil pH.

What is your water source? And what water did you add to the soil for the pH test?

I love citric acid, it has a lot of benefits beyond just ph'ing the water too.

I used tap water. I feed them with tap as well. Do you think just cal mag will fix my issue for my leaves? I'm just concerned with ph now, because I heard if its not the right ph it can't absorb nutrients. How comes my other plants aren't having issues

If you're doing a slurry test you should be using distilled water not tap water. What does your tap water test at?

Really at this point you have no idea what your soil ph is. First, You can’t do a slurry test with tap water and second, you can’t get any meaningful ph with a pool ph drip tester with a slurry. Give that and the pics give her some cal Mag and carry on. what kind of soil? How long has she been in that pot? If it’s a commercial mix chances are it is pretty well buffered and it take quite a bit to move the ph.

Is it ok to give my other plants cal mag as well even if they doing good, or should I just keep it for the other guy
