The light is better for veg considering the ample blue tent, but like I said I veg with it and then toss in my hps as a tag along and have great results! I'm really sorry to hear about these bad reviews, but here's a good one!

Please read some of the many threads in this section on COB's, Quantum Boards and strip lights from a plethora of experienced and well versed growers. You can gain much knowledge by reviewing. This type of LED lighting is superior to Vipar and other Chinese older light tech.

Great sources that sell kits, components and pre-made lights can be found through Horticultural Lighting, CobKits, Timber Grow Lights and more.

I had similar problem with my pos Mars reflector series. What you see is most likely lens got burnt and smoked, but led is fine. I had to just break off that shitty lenses to expose the led. I still use them for early veg, but considering to throw them away at this point... Only blurpurple that I really like is Hans Panel, but its way to expensive at this point with COBs and SMD's available for much cheaper.
