First of all I would recommend this light to growers that are small scale. Closet grow. Small tent grows. Or since these lights are so cheap and dependable I would use multiples of them in a larger space.

I currently use the 600W (132W) dimmable model.
And I use it side by side with a b600 bloomspect

I have this light suspended over 2.5 plants (1/2 of my tent) and they look MARVELOUS.

I'm not trying to sell this light, im just trying to help some small scale growers save money and get a good crop going. Including pics.

I have these lights around 20" from my canopy. And my LST is a constant 72⁰ with the lights on.

Just trying to help out some small time, new growers as this light puts out minimal heat so its easier and cheaper to control the environment. Etc

Yeah I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone personally. As stated above either a 315cmh or a 240w board would be much more efficient and produce better yields.

Like i said, cheap and easy to work with while still producing great plants. Just trying to help some newbies or small time guys out.

Your heart's in the right place, but your technology isn't. I'm glad you're happy with your setup, and you're correct that you can grow plants plants with it. The issue is that for roughly the same money there are a number of demonstrably superior lighting products that newbies can start out with.

Blurps were good for their time, hands down, and in no way am I disrespecting your feedback, or the lights ability to still produce ok plants. I agree that if a new grower had an extremely tight budget, and was looking to get their feet wet, by all means go fo it, you really can’t go wrong. Having a better light, but sucking at everything else isn't gonna produce anything superior anyway. So why not start off with the basics like a blurp for example, understand exactly what the limitations are, and grow from there, vs jumping into a killer light, and being discouraged because all the other elements weren’t in line, mainly due to the fact that you thought the light was gonna do everything for you, which I see a lot of.

I do however agree that there are better options out there. But sometimes better doesn’t translate the way it should. I commend you for trying to help, and at least offer some guidance to the new community that wants to crawl before they learn to walk.

Just my $.02.... I used this same light for a little over a year in a 4'x4'x6' tent. I had decent results - ~ 1.5 oz/plant - as long as I ran no more than 2 plants and topped them twice for 4 mainlines and kept the canopy as flat as possible and the light no further than a foot from it. I didn't do any of this for the first run and the lower branches definitely did not get enough light and it was a larf jungle down low. Decided it was time for an upgrade and just pulled the trigger on a Phlizon CREE COB 2000W which I'm really stoked about.

Tried this light before seeing this post. Unsure of yeild so far. Appearing to be 2 to 3 ozs.(not fully dried or cured yet. also sperated my harvest into harvests. Cut the top nice buds the first harvest. Letting the lower half where they obviously didnt get enough light go for two more weeks full organic nutes)


Will know more once its done. For 50 bucks though? Not bad. Prob at least 2oz then another 1oz from the second harvest. No noticable change to electric bill.
You can daisey chain the light. I wanna get the bigger version personally.


My light is about 8 inches from the canopy though. I have yet to see any signs of burning from the light.
