Yup,i appreciate your usefull information dude538 is the amount leaving the wall, heat takes energy to create so that's energy that doesn't get put to light.. make better sense like that?

Under $1.00 watt with bridgelux eb strips.....with diy and strips you can probably spend 1$/watt
EfficiencyYup,i appreciate your usefull information dude.. but this does not exist in the other led lights?..it does..so what is the difference bettween vipar and other led lights when compare same TRUE watts and both full spectrum?..think about it.
White light is full spectrum. Blurple lights like vipar use old, inefficient diodes. For a given amount of power, they produce less light, about half of what the good efficient diodes produce.Yup,i appreciate your usefull information dude.. but this does not exist in the other led lights?..it does..so what is the difference bettween vipar and other led lights when compare same TRUE watts and both full spectrum?..think about it.
what is the difference bettween 538truewatts full spectrum vipar with another 538true watts full spectrum panel???same spectrum, same watts..so what is the difference?and how watts are be lost through heat?
If you are comparing them to vipar there are no weaknesses if your comparing to hps the QB put out more light per watt so if you need extra heat QB aren't the best hahaHow much more light ? and would the footprint be as good for spending in the same price range ? I keep hearing how awesome qb's are but i want to know the weaknesses of them also
Well , it is winter time almost so heating the house with it wouldnt b a bad idea lol... Plus im retardidIf you are comparing them to vipar there are no weaknesses if your comparing to hps the QB put out more light per watt so if you need extra heat QB aren't the best haha
Finally a real informative and scientific answer. Thank you dude!Forget "full spectrum", all you need is white light at 3000k to 4000k color temperature. All the watts are converted to heat. The heat produced by all lights is directly proportional to the power, 1 watt = 3.14 BTU. A more efficient light puts less heat into the heatsink and produces more light, but that light is converted into heat when it hits a surface. You feel it when a bright light hits your skin.
In other words, both lights would make exactly the same amount of heat, but the Quantum Board would make more light.
Nice that will probably produce enough for your personal stash if your a good growerHere's what I'm working with
5 -5gal active aqua root spa buckets
2 -viparspectra ds350
1 -czjun gl-x5
5 -gorilla glue clones
If you need more heat you could always run some Vero C's really hard.If you are comparing them to vipar there are no weaknesses if your comparing to hps the QB put out more light per watt so if you need extra heat QB aren't the best haha
