Just a first time grow. I wanted to give some information and get some in return. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I had seeds open in 2 days and then planted on Sunday and this is where they are at this point.

Why would you put the net cups on the outside and then hang the leds so they light up the middle
Led's are weak as hell as is and now you aren't even going to directly shine them on the plants?
Stretchy fallen over plants t minus whenever you get that light over the plants

I'm changing out the container on the next go round so i can get the plants more direct. The seeds had to go in because the opened so dang fast. but i wanted to show the results of led with all the hoopla.

If you are using the lights this way than you need to either A move them
or B tie down the plants to the center of the container so that they can get all of that light

I am with Tom on this one, you are doing it wrong!!!!!

Why bother spending all the time and effort if you are going half ass the lights from the start

You might want to rethink your plan

But that's just me

Good luck on your grow

What kind of LED's are those??

Hey Curtis. I have a cop living kiddy corner from me and a nosey shithead neighbor. and i have a very small house and the heat would kill me, So i wanted to document the led grow a bit to at the very least obtain some knowledge moving forward.
I find it very similar to my saltwater tank.

That's great, but you spend a lot of money on those fine lights it is a shame just to let the plants have the edge light, is it a lot of work to move them to the center?

this time around yes. they have roots out the bottom already. i will modify it on the next go round. i will tie these like tom was saying. but they may fall over before then.

I have only grown in soil so I have not had that problem before, if they are strong they will be ok

Nice setup

Thanks, I will let you know as it goes.

When i get into something i get in to it. But experience and knowledge from everyone here will be worth the end result.

Needing some more Advice/feedback Please.
1st - can you over oxygenate your water in a hydroponic system?
2nd - my leaves are turning a bit yellow or brown i just moved my light up a bit thinking that is the issue, you can see where it was in the picture. i moved it up to 5 or 6 inches. everything else checks out. What do you think?
3rd - it ok to have no tds when topping off?

Attaching some pictures so you can see the yellowing. This is 1 week from seed.
