what is your ph? and are you feeding it? i doubt it would be a deficiency being its just a seedling so i figure it would be ph.. or nute burn . are the roots ok ?

i started it a half dose of nutrients 7 days ago. im just topping off with r/o at 10 ppm of tds and ph of 6.2. and the cf in the reservoir is at 340ppm. the root(s) looks nice and about 3 to 4 inches already. what ya think?

Hi IndianRyder. I like your set up. No way your plants are going to fall over. Not from lack of light, anyway. I use the same light, and under 24/7 I can see growth from day to day. In 45 days I started to see females. LEDs are not weak, as someone said. In fact, you probably want to consider sunglasses when you are in your grow-room. There are some useless LEDs out there, but the UFOs that you are using work great.
I think those who speak negatively of them, just haven't tried them. With my own limited experience, I'm sold on the new LEDs. In fact I just bought two more, and can't wait to get them. I also do not think that you have put the light up wrong. Although the light may not look too intense to our eyes, it is, and you'll see the plants fill right in and grow nice and bushy.
Looking forward to see how it's going!

the leds don't shoot straight down and those probably have about a 60*-80* angle. they will be fine.

in 14days it won't matter they will be bushy anyway.

thanks for the help. i will be telling all.

As far as the leds, I think most people end up buying a 660 nm red instead of 630 nm red which makes a big difference, the one i purchased has 120 degree angle. i like the ufo but the rectangular one would be real nice!

I'm still in Veg state but they are looking real nice. i may go to flower in a week. so i can keep them nice and short. Still having a little nutrient burn. what ti realized is the air stone will bring up the nutrient ppm. i will post some pics in a minute.
i also believe i have the ph figured out. and that led light is rocking all but one have some nice stumps and real nice control on growth with out light burn.

Had to cut way back on the nutrients. Few leaves got to much whiskey. Now at 7 inches, 1 more inch and i will start the flowering. Ph can be tricky at times and hard to understand why but im keeping it in between 5.2 and 6.2.

You should shoot to keep the pH at 5.9
That is a pretty big fluctuation bro
Looking good though

Thanks for the props Tom,
I read a great scientific study on hydro growing, and they found higher yields with lower PH levels. They actually claimed that 5.2 was ideal with no side effects. Although I am too skeptical with only one study, I am trying to shoot for 5.8, but it is difficult at first when I change the nutrients. "Higher" yields are always a good thing.!
It seems to jump all over the place for the first few days, unless I am home to babysit it. Any ideas?

Organic Puravida Grow 6-4-3 and Bloom 2-6-6 But I feel like if i do over half a dose i get some nutrient burn. What do you think for the next go round if i make it thru this one?

Nutrient Question...
Looking at the nutrient table, and it is telling me to follow a certain regimen for certain plants...
What is MJ classified as?
Flower, Vegetable, Houseplant or Herb?

Well I will be going to flower tomorrow. they are just getting packed 5 are at 8 inches and 2 at 5 and 1 long lanky thing.
I think i see 2 with some developments and not good developments. the next 2 or 3 days will tell all.
The 4 on the left are just freebies that came with the WW's on the right which you can tell the difference between the strains.

Ok heres where I'm at right now, I really had to go to flower last night. They were creeping up to fast. I decided to run the flower Nutrients at 1/3 Strength because it so damn easy to get nutrient burn, But they are still looking pretty good. I have a nice control on the PH now at 5.8 to 6.0, So Far!
Getting kinda excited to see how many are males:( and females:). I did in the very begging stress the plants out with some flubbers on my initial run, like fan was forgot for a couple hours and it got very warm, didnt plug in the fogger for a day, shit like that. so its a good posibility i might have a fair amount of males.

The stealth cabinet I made works pretty damn good. my next cabinet will have a couple of minor improvements. I will have it finished by next week. I will post some pictures.
