Thanks bud.. never knew growing my own smoke could be so difficult... but my next run should go better thanks to the knowledge I have accumulated in this chat... one managed to secure £110 for a proper dehumidifier.. 1 the wife can use when I'm not growing shes also advised me that the money I wont now be spending on weed will be going towards her driving licence... and I'm sure a few other things ..

Can I ask how long you would leave the LSD in veg?? Theres alot of mixed opinions online and even on the barneys farm website.. I know the WW is an auto so she'll be happy whatever as long as shes fed but the lsds are starting to show that they are all female but look like they are completely different to each other in way of growth is concerned... ive kept them on the same feed chart... the biggest is the 1 I topped... didn't wanna do all 3 incase I fucked up... bit should I start flower with them all?? ✌✌
It’s not a matter of how long should I leave this strain vegging.

It a matter of how much head room do I have if these triple in size during stretch and flower.

With my 400w setup I tend to max out at 6 weeks veg and training.
That helps thanks bud.... they are 6wks on sat but my diary started on wednesday so I'll see how they are... I'm not going to do any more trimming now let them grow and keep on hoping ✌✌✌ again appreciate your help and advice ✌✌✌ must say the extra light looks like it is helping massively.. again all knowledge..

This will be here tomorrow... will move the ladies back to the more secure en suite... bought this 1 as next grow I'll only do 3 and this will fit nicely where the extra 1 would be... gonna also build a little box shelf for the fan I'll use reflective silver tape to cover it so I dont lose any light... and itll give me more room...I'll also make my own drip tray with elevated docks for the fabric bags.. I'll do the tray at a slight angle so I can keep check on moisture and runoff.. theres alot of things I have learned along the way and that'll help me improve my next run.. with hindsight in mind I wouldn't have gone cheap and cheerful from Ebay!!! I've probably put more money into this tent that I would have if I had just gone with the best from the start... initially this post started as there was very limited use on vitalink coco coir max A+B.. but now I feel as though its turned into a very informative experience not just for me but for others reading it... ha and to think the wife was sceptical about asking online... I hope someone else finds this info as useful as I have ✌✌✌✌Screenshot_20210226-113655_Chrome.jpg

My tent is 1.8m height.. see pic lol...
Again it’s not about how tall your tent is but how much head room your lights have to move up.

is there carbon filters and such in the way etc.

another note is that with a PROPER exhaust fan it would remove the humidity and you could control the fan to keep humidity in check.

bathroom extraction fans are not designed to be used with resistance of a filter etc.

I can move the carbon fan outside the tent (just reverse the inline fan) and use the bathroom 1 to independently suck up the extra moisture (from the carbon filter) .. still have the dehumidifier for max control... it'll leave me with just the lights/plants and fans inside the tent.. I have 2 small fans that I'll put in and leave the vents open... I've tried just closing the tent door and seeing if that worked along with pruning etc bit RH just kept rising... dunno if the inline fan is strong enough to suck up all the air *again regret buying cheap... all I'm trying to do is what's best for the plants.... I did try your suggestions but still RH rose.. **cant emphasize just how much I regret buying cheap lol... I wont be hooking things up the same way as last time as I saw the problem as soon as you pointed it out about my exhaust fan.... I know hooking it up to the main shower fan was a bad idea but at the time I panicked and read alot about too much RH.... at least with this new dehumidifier I can control the RH and thats 1 thing off the worry list.. and again people ***dont ever buy cheap.... I did and look at the problems...

Yes but the dehumidifier will run around 300w for every hour it’s on.

a proper inline centrifugal fan will run 40-60w for every hour it’s on.

Yeah I know that but for arguments sake I had to include justifications to the wife about spending even more cash... so met in the middle... something the wife can use when I'm not growing..

This is the new suit up (in my head) I'm doing it this way to maximize the use of all the available fans... the thinking is that when I need to tend to the ladies the room then stinks.. so to over come that I'll use the bathrooms extractor fan when I'm in there.. and when I'm not the carbon filter will be doing its thing eliminating smell from the tent... there will be circulating air from the adjoining bedrooms window to keep thing fresh for them.... thus I'll have more headroom in the tent... i know the dehumidifier is overkill but I'm a big believer that prevention is better than the cure... also itll serve me well in future grows...

@jondamon just20210226_205846.jpg fed them... the lsd#3 was fed separately and you were bang on... lowered her feed by .5 and her numbers fell.. still slightly higher but an improvement.. I work the ec out in my head but added these 1s ✌✌✌

Not even added the dehumidifier and the RH has dropped... thinking it could be down to moving the carbon filter out the tent so reduced heat a little.. also removed the little dehumidifiers and all the other shit to allow better circulation... put the lights up separately so I can hang them at different heights as the 1000w 1 is much stronger than the blurple so itll give me better control.. started there 12/12 today so they're asleep from 10 til 10 cant wait to see how much they grow... normal indoor LSD reach around 100-120cm so should have enough space.. was gonna scrog but decided against it this time... I'll just use wooden rods... ✌✌✌

Is it too late to defoliate some of these leaves?? 3 days into flower...
No it’s not too late if you want to.

I prefer lollipopping which is stripping some of the lower growth off.

You can do it whenever you want but I tend to do a lot of mine just before switching to 12/12.

Yeah I switched 12/12 Saturday night bit alot of people have said it's a bad idea once flowering but your advice has been 100% so I'll go with you bud!! Do you strip all growth from the bottom 1/3?
