I usually leave a few nodes on top and i make sure i cut at a node and leave on to cut off So a 4 node clones is good, cut two off and leave two. If that makes sense.

How many and which leaves to you leave?

Do you cut above or below the node you want to root?

When I had the best luck with cloning I had been making my final 45 degree cut right through the node. Then a few slices up the side(just break the skin), dip in hormone, and put in your cloning medium.

You can take the leaf set or so above the cut off the clone, like when folks lollipop their plants. If not comfortable pulling too much off, cut the leaves in half, like you were cutting someones fingers off at the second knuckle.

What are you cloning into? Coco, soil, water, rockwool, cotton balls?

I do that too, or similar. I make sure that when I cut my 45 angle into it its at a node, then I make sure I have a node above it that I can cut off. But sometimes there isnt two nodes that are that close together, So I would end up going down to the last node and cutting about 1 inch below it, then trim that node off and dip-n-plant. I like to leave at least two nodes above my cut.

But enough typing, I just went out and snapped a few pics of me taking a cutting. I wasn't going to keep this cutting, So dont follow me and use dirty ass tools lol they are my trimming scissors and are filthy! To prevent diseases its best to use sterile equipment or equipment that has been rubbed down with alcohol. I am sure you already know this but I wanted to say something before someone pointed it out.

There's 6 plants in that tote and 4 in the other. Thanks HC, I learned I had a green thumb last year in the garden. Surprised me. Had huge veggies.

1 BB came up as of this morning

Are the BB on schedule as far as when you expected them to break ground? Keeping my fingers crossed that you get a nice blueberry cut voidman it's very nice smoke. Got my eye on mine right now, they are coming down next thurs.

I think it's only been a day or two. I expect 5 of 6 by tomorrow sometime. Still not counting on that 6th. Thanks, I hope so too. Maybe if I put a picture of your cut in front of them they'll strive to match.

Nice! Cuttings look big and healthy they should root in no time. You'll notice they turn a bit yellow when they start to root. At that time I hit em with a lite feedings. Kinda like a bear eating after hibernation! Cant wait til you pull of your first harvest, Its so exciting! Im feeling it over here
