Voidlings First Cab

The issue is that the've grown so much since I flipped to 12/12 that they are pushing up against the light. I've been bending the stems laying them over and the top turns and grows into the light again.

The key is topping'em earlier in veg multiple times. It'll force'm to grow wide and stunt their upward growth.... depends on the plants too... some just want to grow up no matter how much you top -- i try to avoid these they get too high I got a few right now :) Not ideal for LEDs either.

i just read that auto flower males should not be used in the selection for breeding (males that flower regardless of light cycle)

Alright. I'll put down the auto males then. I don't see why they auto if they don't have ruderalis in them. If they truely pass on autoflower and aren't ruderalis...I may want them for a project I've had in mind. I really need a seperate breeding box for that far away though. Hmmm

The issue is, what do I do at this point? Cut them down? Cut the tops? or keep trying to bend them without breaking stems?

I've got rom 5 giving me this issue twice now. The mystery rom is doing it. I think both BB are doing it to me. Bushy isn't really the way for me to go in here :(

suspected that they make hermies and can pass traits on which is why thy are not used in breedin

They very well could be rootbound, never got them up potted. been busy trying to fight the other stuff going on. Having them at a location I can't go to once dark is against my favor

Sounds like it's time for a vertical scrog,,,line the walls with some chicken wire and do some weaving

That actually goes for autoflower anything :)

I would guess if they autoflower then you have ruderalis in them -- you just don't know it. That's where those genes come from.

Sounds like you need more height no way around it. There's only so much you can do training and trimming.

Very true. U mya have to top all the way down. And as far as anything ruder-related..-Ehhhkkkk In my experience that is.

They don't cut down wildflowers here so a quick autoflower would be great.

Next round I'll definitely put in tiny clones.

Will consider how to fix up a scrog. As is right now I have to remove each plant to water

i bet they have zero Ruderalis , but i will bet they are just potbound.... this just happened to another grower who was running my C99 (which contain zero Ruderalis) his issue was rootbound. I find it hard to belive those have auto genes in them , and deff not Rom.

Yes that's the case for the rom. There's two different things going on with males and they're getting mixed up.

Alright...

I lost track of which of my 5 romulan was the male. So I put one of each in the flower cab. Romulan #3 is male and produced balls. I removed it from the cab and took it to another room. I've had some open male flowers on the plant. I pulled/knocked off the ones that were still closed and laid them on a paper towel to dry. I came back and they were open but saw no pollen in them or on the paper towel.

The c99 x haze started flowering in 24 hour light. They are most likely to be root bound as they've been in the red cups. Dizzle said this can cause them to flower. I hadn't thought about it but radishes will bolt and go to seed if planted too close so I guess it's the same thing.
