Volcano Vaporizer Tip To Save Money

Hi guys

Just want to pass this tip forward to anyone who has a Volcano and didn't come up with the idea yet.
If you (like me) think those bags are too expensive, you can use the Volcano as a "whip style vaporizer" with a tube instead of the bag. Just buy a piece of aquarium or food grade tube in the right size (2/3 inch or something) and put it right on the Volcano "bong head". Just turn on the Volcano while steadily sucking in the same pace while the Volcano pumps your lungs full. Works like a charm - i like it much better than the balloons. Now i only use balloons when we are too many to sit around the Volcano and reach the tube.

A volcano bag costs less than $5 for 9 feet.... at least 3 bags.. Thats like $1.60 for a month+ of bags... or less than $15 a year on bags...... Volcano's retail for like $450-$650....

Just doesn't make sense to me :lol:

My volcano just collects dust, the high from the vaporizor just is not enduring. i can smoke the same amount of weed from a bong and stay high longer. maybe im doing it wrong? i thought the same thing about my 45$ cheapo whip vaporizor so i upgraded to the volcano, because it was supposed to be the holy grail. .. what a waste..

what temps you running medical grade

should be 365f-394f ish

or 5.5-8 on the classic

I find the high is longer lasting on the vaporizer,, it took me a week to figure out on my own, wasted a little weed, then i was vapin like a champ gettin higher than ever before..

Hm - at Storz & Bickels website they charge €48 + shipping for 6 balloons making it about $10-12 each balloon. The tube will not be needing replacement, but just a clean sometime in the future. Have been using this for 4-5 months and still doesn't show much build up of nastiness.

Don't know about that. I think you might be addicted to all the other chemicals that come from combustion. The high is a bit different with vaporizers - more uplifting. I have smoked weed for 15-20 years and after buying this vaporizers last year i now only roll a joint in special occasions. I love the clean pure taste of the marijuana without the taste of tard.

after you use the volcano or any good vaporizer for a week or longer....try to smoke a bowl or a joint after that ....its like your breathing in smoke from a bar-b-q pit....

I love the taste you get from vaping... you actually taste the sweetness of the weed..... every strain has its own unique taste....sour diesel (ECSD) in the volcano is the bomb at 370*F

Best thing is... you can use your left over vape duff to make killer cannabudder.....and you eleminated 80% of the carsonages that smoke contains

Brimi.... you have the quick/easy valve set... thats why your bags cost more

If you switch to the solid valve set you make your own bags any size you want...I make nice 3 ft bags....4 boxes of bags cost $18 thats 12 bags

Volcano's cost that much?! I was (was) thinking about getting one. I saw one in "Super High Me", and wanted one ever since, seems a lot less
wasteful compared to joints and bowls, like I've been using....

I can only reccomend it. I truly love mine and will never go back to smoking again. This high is just so pure, and i really feel my health is better. Breathing is just getting better. And you only have to buy it once - it will last for many years. The taste and high is just amazing. You can really taste the bud's own flavour without the burned taste. You can even add lavender or peppermint for some extra taste. I love using fresh ground peppermint - it gives you that cooling effect and just tastes like candy.

I have never tried a vaporizer. But everyone I know that has, says the same thing you said.
And if I do buy one, I don't want a cheap one that will break. The $650 price tag was a little
shocking... It is an investment I guess....

I bought mine straight out of the Storz & Bickels website - don't know if it was cheaper there.
Good luck with the grow - and vaporizer when you get there.

my first model was the non dig ....used it for 6 yrs then gave it to my nephew ....those you can get for like $3-400 used

I agree - the Volcano is way overprized and as long as hot air passes through the bud and into your lungs it will work. I just had a Vapir one before getting the Volcano and i cannot recommend the Vapir One - i only used it 5-6 times before putting it under the bed. Volcano is the Lamborghini in Vaporizers - it's just nice quality, but a lot less can do the job. Heat gun with a thermostate is about all there's to it.

sorry but the addiction to the other chemicals that come from combustion is a retarded stoner myth that has absolutely no scientific evidence backing it up.

you get higher longer from smoking because you're acutely getting more cannabinoids, and specifically getting those that vaporize at a higher temperature than most vaporizers reach.

vaporizers are great for most people, but if you run into someone who gets higher longer on smoke, that's their body, their preference. it isn't the extra contaminants getting th em high, it's the extra cannabinoids!!!

if you really want to try to continue this nonsense argument about contaminants I'd like to see a legit study that says that users get a compounded high from contaminants in smoke.... if not drop this bs immediately . ...
