VolksGarden information?

the only thing different between two volksgardens adn one omega is the plant count capacity. two volksgardens have the same cylinder area as one omega, the plant count doesnt really matter, you might veg a little longer if you have less plants in the system but that all. you can put too many plants in an omega anyway.

We tried low plant counts the first time with our rotationals, and found that packing the system to its fullest yeilded the most.

The volksgarden can hold up to 80 plants where as the omega can hold 300.

So maybe 4 volksgardens equal 1 omega, but with rotationals you dont veg.

I mean I guess you could veg if you want, but instead we took 9-10 inch clones to compensate for no veg time.

But still 160 plants versus 300, two volksgardens is no Omega.

Also omegagarden.com lists the dimension for the volksgarden as:

dimension: 51"L x 32"D x 76H"

Where as the 10002 is listed as:

48"W x 56"L x 64"H

on the 10002 the widest part is the wheel telling us the wheels diameter is 48"

But the volksgarden doesnt have a Width dimension it is listed as "D" of 32.

Meaning the Diameter is most likely 32 inches as I suspected.

This all comes down to strain genetics, some plants dont work well in wheel gardens at all and others do great, so some people dont think this type of system work well at all no matter how many plants are put in a system.

The old plastic molded Omega Garden had 168 fixed sites and by the third time round I was pulling almost 7 lbs in 6 weeks, then the clone bank gave me new plants and said they where same as the old and my yield went to shit. So it's more about finding the right plant for what you are doing. The new plant I received worked far better spacing out the garden to 84 plants instead of the 168, so that was the same as running 2 volksgardens with only 42 plants in each and the yields got back up to close to 7 lbs again, so just because you have a certain experience doesnt mean the system cant be dialed in in a way that makes it work with far less plants then the maximum that can be stuffed into a system.

If you were able to stuff 1000 plants into an Omega you would not likely harvest anything worth while. you can take a badass medical strain and turn it into a hemp producer by planting at 1 inch centers and you will get almost nothing but stalks 10 feet tall with 1/4 inch diameters

The "D" seems to be referring to depth and not diameter, I have volksgardens and they are not 32 inch diameter but 49 inch from bottom of rooting medium cube to rooting medium cube.

I will have to let them know that the posted dims are creating some confusion about the actual size of the unit

Bullshit, The stainless steel omega was "OK" and worked (when it didn't fall apart and stop) But the plastic unit is a terrible. First off it has no cooling for the tube, light no adjustablity, $2000.00 + for what??? Ted from Omega told me all he had to do get the price point low enough and it would sell whether it works or not. Notice no posts of it working, Crapola .

Thanks Bigcool
Karma is great

I don't know, Bigcool, that's not what appears to be ironic to me.

Since you created 2 more usernames and are answering your own posts, do you want to keep Bigcool, Karma..TED, or omegagardens?

And really, answering your own posts requires more psychological therapy than we're prepared to give you around here.
