First, wrong forum. Second, if you're seriously only voting for someone for their views on narcotics then you shouldn't be voting. While I will be voting for him; it'll be for his overall increase in state's rights, foreign policy, and decrease in the ability for the federal government's to put their fingers in everything.

His other policies just go to show what a non-dictator he is, and by that I mean not letting this insanity of keeping pot illegal. If the govt. wasn't so corrupt and if we could actually trust them (like the FDA) to tell the truth it would be different but when the FDA stamps their approval on Monsanto's cow hormones (solely for profit -and females everywhere are lactating because of this crap), tells us something is bad only to change their mind later... they simply can't be trusted. I'm voting for Ron Paul, I don't care if I'm the only one that votes for him (he got 10% in NH!). IF we rock the vote, he CAN win; just don't vote for the establishment schmucks that have sold out to big business.

yeah, amen to fuck the FDA. Not even getting into morality of cloning or the possibility of health issues, they just force feed this shit to everybody and won't even consider labeling foods as cloned or genetically modified. I understand this technology is quickly becoming necessary to support as many people as this planet has, but there is just waaaaaaaay too much control for one organization (who's values should be questioned) to have. They make all kinds of hoops for food to be labeled organic, but there's no problem with "modified?" Give me a break.

The psychotic supporters are Dr. Paul's worst enemy. I am convinced he would poll much higher, but their antics scare off potential voters. In New Hampshire they followed Sean Hannity yelling insults, even throwing snowballs. One called a Hannity staffer the c-word. Totally uncalled for.

I don't participate in primaries because they are a function of the two major parties. I will make an exception this time around only to send a message. 8% may not seem like a large voting block, but it's large enough to get some attention to the issues Dr. Paul highlights. Will he win? Hell no. However, the major players will be receptive in order to gain his endorsement (and prevent him from going independent thus torpedoing the Republican nominee in the general election).

Johnny you are so right about the fringe elements being his worst enemy. It's like the saying "with friends like you who needs enemies?". Every organization has it's extremists and I think the ones in RP's camp just see a little glimmer of home in returning us to the true freedoms that the Constitution gave us. We have traded our freedoms for "civil rights"; Thomas Jefferson said anyone that does this deserves neither. I'm amazed at the foresight and wisdom of the founding fathers. There is not anyone in DC that would be qualified to shine Jefferson's shoes besides Ron Paul. I've been in a constitutional group for more than 10 years and have been watching closely as the globalists have inched closer and closer to their goal. In 20 years America will be a third world country unless we get our country straightened out and that starts with getting back to the constitution to the letter.

I just got a Ron Paul flyer in the mail and the only subject was the military: Get Bin Laden, strenthenh our military and enforce our borders was the gist. Out of the three, the only one that made any sense, was to strenthen our borders. If he brings all the troops home like he says he wants to, there would be more than enough to patrol our borders. Whats up with the fear tactics, get Bin Laden, thats so dead and stinking. The more I hear from this character, the more I'm thinking he may not be the man for the job, does the word senile ring in here?
