I think the past 10 years of Bush&Obama have taught us all that no matter who is in office... we are going to get fucked. Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely. - Some dude that probably also didn't give a fuck about us.

Agreed. Which is exactly why if you search "Lame Duck" and "Day one" you are likely to find my posts stating that RP would be one from one. It's hard enough to get things done as President when half of Washington is against you. Try doing it with all of Washington being against you.

I'm pretty sure we helped kill a bunch of people-thats not the kind of freedom i'm talking about wanting, I guess getting shot equals freedom-no thanks. If were promoting freedom, why do we help China oppress its people? Why do we support Mexico and the conditions their? why do we censor our journalists and media?

Yes, but have you considered the Obama administarion? His approval rates are at an all time low, which means the people are not with him. And like you say, more than half of congress does not shrare his views, largely the GOP. Would a Ron Paul presidency really make more animosity between parties or would it make the congress be more inclined to form bi-partisan efforts?

If anything, I strongly believe obama would have less support from washington and the people if he were re-elected rather than R.P. or any other canditate for that matter.

Do you really think one person, whether it be Ron Paul or someone else, no matter how well-intentioned, can change the system to overcome the corporate and financial elite?

I would love to think so - but I don't. I think a small powerful elite control the world and no individual has the power to destroy them. I think if Ron Paul was given the chance to lead the country - he would become the puppet that every other president has been.

We need to unite at a more local level to defeat the evil that has controlled us for hundreds to thousands of years. Unfortunately, it is usually difficult to convince people that the elite even exist.

you are aware that Ron Paul is for smaller federal government and states rights to make their own laws right?

be positive that R.P can and WILL make a change if he's elected. He will be just as vocal as he is now about the issues that need to be addressed, I don't see why he wouldn't be.

the john birch society people that ron paul loves (and who love ron paul) used to say it was a communist plot, but recently, your fellow ron paulophiles have told me that it is a nazi plot. can someone please clear up this confusion on who is poisoning my water and to what end?

well lets give ron paul the chance to make a change and if he fails then i think its time the people take matters into their own hands and practice their right to bare arms. thats really what its gunna come down too and im ready
