TGA Subcool The Flav Seeds Specs
Indica/ sativa: 60% - 40% Hybrids
Flowering Time: 55-65 days
Yield: med- heavy
smell/taste: orange mango
Grow Strategy/ Techniques:
For this grow I am flowering one seed plant, (cotton candy) I am taking a clone to save as the mother because this plant was the perfect size to veg out and I couldn't resist. The two TGA strains are clones from a friend... who didn't pheno hunt at all... I am saddened to no end by this, but hopefully they are still good. The plants are vegging into a scrog that covers the bottom of the tent and also three of the walls of the tent. The goal is to super crop and fill in the main scrog as thick as possible and also allow some tops from each plant to run up the sides and get more light access to maximize my tiny tent. I got ~ 8oz on my first grow by just training for a even canopy on the bottom, and my goal is to get about 100 more grams this grow. I will not be using the HPS this grow however and will just use the Digilux, which has more red and orange then the ipower mh I was using, plus the flouros for additional red orange spectrum.
Yield still is not my main goal for this goal however. My goal is, and always will be, to obtain the highest quality cannabis for personal medicinal use. This is why I chose to switch to organic nutrients. Next grow I will hopefully be going to true living organic soil, because I feel that is the best way to cultivate cannabis. In my opinion a lot of the effects come from terpenes rather then THC, and organics cultivates more of these. This essentially is the smells and tastes of cannabis and is measured in brix. Organic produce of all kinds not just canna tests higher in brix on a regular basis. I'd recommend doing some research about terpenes and how they effect the high as well as high brix foods.
