Yak oil, polyurethane all the way! I have looms finished 30 years ago in a good quality poly that look like the day they were finished. Love my DeWalt ROS, sigh.I was trying to save a few bucks. They would have oil finished it for another $500

Yak , oil! I prefer polyurethane and I use it on almost everything. If I have to use oil on a cutting board I use Black Walnut.I even looked it up and all I found was yak butter lol never heard of it.
