yeah flood table sounds easier, the pcv pipe, like that post u showed me

he has pipes inside what you mean u dont need them?

it shows him having them? with misters?

did i nto read enough? ima keep going, ima get parts for pcv pipeing just because they go to stuff i already own so yeh, and im canceling my storage space:).

specs for my 25$ dollar pump is
125 U.S gal(473.1L) maximum tank depth -36"(91 CM) # of features 4x2,# of outlets, brand is TOPFIN.
You say, "im gonna try pet store for pump think they have it? or wait a min that pump pumps a 20 gallon tank thats like what you got right?,
pause is that pump good enough , the pump is pumping water through tank to plants, i dont get it, the tube does that correct?."
^^^-----not sure what your asking. You mean hose?? The pump just floods the table, then it drains back via gravity. My pump(I think) is a Eco264 and I am not sure right off what the specs on it are----but it was only like $20 or something. The pump just needs to be able to flood your table in a few minutes and allow for pretty quick draining----so like 3/4 hose??<---mine too small, I know that.
im confused because, if i wanted to pump water into tank, how could i the pumps end pz is so small. and so is my tubing that connects to it. i guess i got the wrong pump for doing that exact thing right?. thats ok i want a simple setup asap. shit part is my ph meter doesnt go under 5-6 dont remember which 1

im goin to walk dog tomorrow come home and read my ass off ALL DAY few threads, and i wanna take a pic of all my parts in 1 even tho i dont need to might as well now but it would be easier, for folks to help me, see what i can make. got pump, bubbler wall, tubing, i could get something going tomorrow :).

.........hey there, havefun!
I really dont have much time on here today as we are trimming......Monday....

But, yes, I think you have things a bit mixed up. With what you bought you can set-up a dwc(deep water culture). The "ebb/flo table" does JUST that----it fills the table to whatever point you have it stop and then drains........that's is. No pvc. Just water pump(not air), hose, table, res.........

This is a "table" (inside the 2'x4' frame) that is only 7" deep...Than there's the res with a water pump in it with a hose connected to the bottom of the table(to flood/drain). That's it (minus whatever you do IN the table).

This is a dwc. Self contained container with an air pump, air hose, bubble bar......... and of course net baskets of choice, medium, nute solution. This one is 10 gal.

When you start talking pvc, tubes, etc., your thinking Aeroponics, or some version thereof........ Which is very cool, cheap, easy......and a step up from these even easier, less expensive, less time consuming ways in the pics........imo!
StinkBud's threads(if that's the one you were talking about) are mostly DIY Aeroponics. And the aero cloner he does is awesome. The whole system he goes by is!! And that's the direction I plan to head along with flood/drain tables. Putting those systems(aero) together isn't cheap if you use the right stuff- but it's probobly only 25% cost of what they would cost you at the hydro shop and 5 times the quality, and you can configure them for your situation.

That gang valve thing........imo, take it back. I just dont think those thing are made for shit and those pumps will have a job getting air through one hose........ I never use the splitters or manifold stuff. If I had a commercial quality pump like Discount Hydroponics - O2 Easy High Output Air Pump I might use a same quality manifold. I use 1 hose per outlet on the pump and the pumps I have have 2. If I were to need more air I think I'd go with Dual Diaphragm Air Pump by G.H. | Air Pumps= . If your using air for o2 to the roots in a flooded situation, you need a fairly good roll and I dont think you can get that with those little pumps and multiple hoses........

:oI am not getting much trimming done........ Have a great day and I am sorry if I am just confusing you!:hump:

----yeah, what you got is useful(mostly in dwc), and your right you need a h2o pump for a table......----->now lets hope your out picking up a 200+gph at minimum. Do you have a Lowes in your area??<-----they have those mixing bin there in the concrete section.......

Yeah, I 'll be back on later......gotta go to town too

Great, I am glad to hear they took that stuff back. Lowes is the only place that sells that Macourt Mixing Tub and they usually have more selection on Rubbermaid and Sterilte totes and shit.

I have yet to make it that far but I believe the only misters you want are the red #5's in aeroponics uses.....that's accourding to StinkBud and the guy at my hydro shop("My Shop" haha:roll:). I guess they have no moving parts, dont clog as easy and mist a 360.

---------stolen from StinkBud haha---they are EZ-Clone sprayers and you get them from a hydro shop or online @ EZ-Clone Sprayer | Plumbing Materials & Fittings as they are made by Sunlight Supply. I believe you drill a 7/32nds(edit: 11/64ths) hole in the pvc for these to screw into. SB says a 396gph pump..........

$23 dollars @ bghydro

I will be making that cloner of his real soon, although I 've been happy with my bubble cloner: I just dont know what the stress of going from dwc to aero with a clone will cause.......weak roots?:blsmoke:

Do you have a hydro shop in your town? I know, you dont want to be seen in there?? I think I will do a DIY on how to sneak into the hydro shops with out being seen.........*

*...dreamin' I could do that tooooooooooo

You crack me up!!:hump: Like a kid in a candy store, huh...hahaha:o

Yeah, that stuff is so cool! Our Home Depots are quite large---I cant imagine what else they could put in there. But, do you have a Lowes?

Those connectors for the pvc.....the joint things.....looks like you could do a lot of different stuff with them!! And those fittings with the barbed end....are those through-hull fittings? What size hose does it take?

I dont know where else you'd find Eco-Plus pumps other than online or at a hydro shop--------I am sure there is somewhere........

i was thinking the red bucket / pcv pipeing would be the easier to make what you think?

i wanna try making a aqua mister to :(

it just seems like everytime i come close theres always 1 thing i need to get or order, im gonna decide on a few and see how close i can get to making them,

what you think is easiest out of these 1's?

bucket system with pcv pipe/or tubes(hydro), PCV piping (aero long way),drip system(hydro)

im thinking drip system, buckets, tubing, drip sticks, pump, ready to go, pph tester, rez , WHAT YOU THINK?

with parts i have , rubber maid tubs (2, 1 for plants, 1 for rez) , still got blue tubing thats it from stuff i bought, pcv pipe fittings(in pic),all i would need is a pump to get started and medium right? for FLOOD SYSTEM ONLY sorry man im really stupid with this shit been doing soil for a while now everyone says it easier i sorta disagree lol, im sure i could get a flood and drain system going but what you think of the 3 choices above? drip system right?

alright no more garbage posting, ill start a new thread DIY with whatever you guys say is best i think drip system, still neeed to buy and look around, I HOPE I GOT A LOWES :(

this goes to that 4-6 bin setup from a site :).

i really like how the misters work and stuff if i could find a black tub like that 1 in pic, i would try it , cause i saw misters at home depot this small pic

hehe i got my phone pics to work but its so small, but it sits in middle of aquamister and which is pic that is 333.x263 15kb 2nd post of pics on this page, (post with 11 pics, 5th pic is the mister i tried to post from phone, sorry didnt see it, thats whats inside the AQUAMISTER, sorta).
