How To Make a ghillie suit: cut burlap bags in about 4"wide strips in various lengths and patterns(think jagged). tease loose ends with a comb or your fingers, into frayed ends. I usually cut the sandbag along the seam and up one side; open it flat,( use sewing scissors)then I try to get one long ribbon 8-10" wide(make it uneven), then fringe it up cutting 3/4 the way through the 'ribbon'every 4" or less. then LIGHTLY spraypaint whatever earth tones are needed to 'match the paint'. just go real light on the spraypaint....you should end up with a roughly 5' long piece of ghillie, which is wonderful for camouflaging almost anything. also, you might try adding weeds to your bag wrap.I want to know how to disquise 5 gallon grow bags so that they can't be spotted by airplanes and choppers. The ground around the grow spot is light to dark brown. The Idea is too somehow make it look like they are growing out of the ground .
