Hell half my basement is full of shit from BAS. I'm a local so I don't have to pay crazy shipping costs. Plus my Hydro shop can order though them if I want and save more money. I got a huge bag of rice hulls from them through my Hydro shop for like $10.
I just started with plain FFOF and then added some stuff to make it into no-till. I'm still trying to master it. And I'm basically guessing what the plants need based on what I see. It's a learning experience.

Hell ya. I just got 2 more 1 cu ft bags of Oly Mountain like 2 weeks ago. I wanted to get it before it gets cold. Don't want it getting jacked in shipping. Those guys are great. There's a special note in my account that say to ship everything FedEx since my USPS is kinda unpredictable sometimes.
I found a box of my vermicompost sitting in snow once. Called BAS and they sent me another bag. The first bag was fine still, but some of the life might have died. I'm a big BAS fan. They sent me a 65 gallon fabric pot that I didn't order once too.
But ya, it'll last just fine if you don't let it freeze.

I just use rice hulls for mulch, but nothing wrong with straw and cover crops.
And Oh ya. Craft Blend is good shit. Bought the bucket last time.
That grey Tupperware on the right has the rice hulls in it.
