Hey everyone, im starting to prep for this next season. I plan on growing 20-30 White Russian and Chronic clones in 17gallon pots. I have my spot and everything, the only thing im trying to figure out is what soil to use.

Im kinda turned off by FoxFarm right now and id like to try something different, especially because its so pricey. I would have to purchase about a half a pallet of OceanForest and thats about $400.

So, 17 gallon pots = one bag per pot.

20-30 pots = 20-30 bags.

Ill be feeding with Heavy Harvest only. Throught the whole season.

So let me know what else is out there. Im all for going to Home-Depot or Lowes to purchase name-brand stuff, as long as its quality and it will produce good big yields.

I have good things about:

Sunshine
Black Gold?
Miracle-Grow Organic
Miracle-Grow moisture control.

What do you use? :bigjoint:

go to your garden center nursery and check out what they have in bulk you'll save and may wind up with a better product for your buck....

i would stick with the fox farm soil, if those are your choices. i know that the black gold is pretty expensive, i rather pay a couple more bucks and get the ff it seems to have better nutes in it.

Your local Nursery will have what you need. Figure out what mixture you want first, then take the list to the Nursery & see what comes close. On line, check out what's in "Gardener&Bloome" I was impressed with what it had. Always have the Fish Emulsion, liquid seaweed, molasses, Epsom Salt & Green sand. With all this, you can get commercial compost (whatever the Nursery Guys use), 60%, then 40% of the gardener & bloome type stuff. Lady Bug, Black Kow, Dr. Gobbler, Medina & Soil Minder is all good products. Just my own opinion.PS; Molasses & seaweed is good from start to finish, not just during flowering.
