Hey there. I'm new to the forum as of last week, but I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to the community. I am into botany and have been crossing plants and making hybrids for about five years with non-cannibus plants.
My first attempt was at making a kind of mint plant which has the ability to grow super fast, so I crossed it with several different kinds of vines in my back yard.
The result was mostly nothing, until the next spring when nature took its course and a spindly, mint-vine polypoid (mis-matched cross-species hybrid) was growing in my yard. It grew for the whole summer, but then turned yellow and died without reproducing. Turns out it was sterile.
Right now I am working on growing a strain of bean for indoor growth that grows in patterns of three growth sites per node instead of two. It yealds quite a bit more and does not stretch under fluros so it will work great I think. I am over 200 plants in to getting it just right, but the next generation should be perfect.
Anyway... Im rambling now so: about the cannibus. I am growing Lowryder #1 because I am interested in its genetics and I love a good smoke of some Indica. I intend to devote most of my interest in botany to cannibus now, and I am happy to be posting on the best online growing community I have found!
P.S. Does anybody know about Automatic Hindu Kush? I am interested in ordering that for the next grow if it is actually legit.
